Why Piggy Book 3 will NEVER Happen (Roblox Piggy)

[0:10]Anyways, welcome back to Piggy Legacy, a series where we break down and summarize the complicated history of Piggy Media. And today, we're going to be talking about why Book 3 will never happen. And I know it sounds disappointing, but same time, let's be realistic here. Piggy has been going on for years now, and with the conclusion of Book 2 back in 2021, as well as the introduction of Piggy Intercity, which is coming out in March. As well as Piggy Miss Bitz, which is a High Green Wheel spin-off game. It really begs the question, will Book 3 ever happen? Well, we technically did get one, but as an April Fool's joke. But will a real one ever come out? Well, the answer is no, and I have some reasons for it. First of starting, the player's story is over. You see, Piggy isn't like the entire Cast's story. It's the player's story. Why do you think the player's journal exists? Because the main Piggy game is the player's story. That's their story. That's why there's multiple timelines because it's their story. The story goes by their decisions, and as you can see, the player's story is officially over. So if Book 3 ever happened, it would have to continue on the player's story. And also looking at the timeline right now. It kind of looks a little bit difficult to kind of continue a story that should have been ended a long time ago. Another reason why Piggy Book 3 will never exist is because we already lost a lot of main characters. For example, in Book 1, we lost Doggy and Bunny, but in Book 2, we lost Zizzy, Giraffy, and of course, Willow and Tigry. Zizzy got infected, Giraffy is missing, and both Tigry and Willow are having their own adventures. Meaning the only two characters we actually have left is Mimi and Pony, as well as the twins and Georgie. We've already lost so many main characters, it's going to feel a little bland just to like have very little characters. Sure, they can introduce your characters, but at the same time, that's what Piggy Intercity is doing, so what's the point of Piggy Book 3 if we're already going to get introduced to newer characters in Piggy Intercity? And of course, another reason why Piggy Book 3 will never happen is because of development. You see, Minitoon and a lot of other developers confirmed that they have their hands tied around multiple different updates. The Mousey skin quest, the Mrs. P skins, Piggy Intercity, Piggy Misfits, all these other updates and games, as well as other collabs to other games like Jailbreak. They're all busy with everything. They don't have time to pretty much create Book 3. But of course, a question that a lot of people may be asking, would Piggy Book 3 revive Piggy? And the answer is yes, it would technically revive Piggy, since it would bring back the hype it initially started. However, it wouldn't have the same impact because Piggy isn't as popular anymore, and people are getting tired of playing the same game over and over again. Sure, one of the dev studios can improve the quality of Piggy Book 3, but at the same time, who would be in charge of that? Because then again, it also ties in with development problem, like Wuzawa Studios is dealing with Piggy Misfits. Minito and his team are dealing with Piggy Intercity. ItwoR is focusing on the Mousey skin quest. So they can't really work on adding more chapters to Piggy because they're already adding more lore into different games that are still in the same timeline as Piggy. Okay, but now another question arises. What if Piggy Book 3 comes out after Piggy Intercity? Well, Minito confirmed that there's no plans for anything post-Intercity, which means after Intercity, there is most likely not going to be anything lore related. Like after Intercity, the lore is over. There's not going to be any more Piggy lore. And also Piggy Intercity, it's most likely going to live around maybe like around 4, 5, 6, 8 years, I guess, because of how big it's going to be. But my estimate is most likely around like five years at max, or more, like five or more years, at least. But even after all that time, by like 2030 something, will people still want Piggy Book 3? Well, maybe. And since Piggy Intercity takes place 10 years after the main Piggy game, the developers might find a way to kind of include the player's story in between those 10 years of what had happened and how the player's story could officially end the Piggy storyline. But at the same time, that's just speculation. So don't take this very seriously. And of course, it's pretty disappointing to see that Piggy Book 3 might not happen. But at the same time, it could most likely be a good thing, because remember back in 2021, where Minitoon said that he's getting stressed out and bored because he was constantly working on Piggy chapters. But now with all these dev studios, he could pump out more chapters and make them even more higher quality, like the Holly Spirit chapter. But at the same time, they've already promised and leaked so many things about Piggy Intercity, Piggy Misfits, and other Piggy related stuff that there's pretty much no point in making a Piggy Book 3. Would it be fun? Yeah, I'll be honest with you. I would love to make Piggy videos about that. So in conclusion, these are the reasons why Piggy Book 3 will probably never happen.
