[0:00]Why did the disciples leave everything to follow Jesus? They weren't chasing a religion. They weren't impressed by a speech. They had just seen something that rearranged their hearts. These were fishermen, men who understood nets, storms, and empty nights. Then Jesus stepped into their ordinary work and filled their nets beyond reason. In that moment, they realized it wasn't about the fish at all. Luke 5:11 says, So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him. They didn't leave because they had nothing. They left because they had found someone greater. When Jesus calls, he doesn't just offer a new path, he offers a new life. And once you see who he is, everything else becomes light enough to lay down. What he gives is worth more than anything you leave behind. His voice still calls hearts from every shore.
