[0:12]I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan In the Name of Allah, the Abundantly Merciful, the Intensely Merciful And all praise is due to Allah. Lord of the worlds O Allah, send Your peace and prayers upon Mohammed and the Family of Mohammed, the Imams and the Mahdis Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you all

[0:29]And may the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you Some incredible news that came out. Basically, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, which is a government body of the United States, they they basically they issued a recommendation letter to the Trump administration to keep Egypt on its special watch list due to their treatment of 14 members of the Ahmadi religion of Peace and Life.

[1:17]All right, let's go into tonight's lecture. It's a pretty important one and it's basically titled the Secret of Karbala.

[1:33]And the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. All right, so bismillahirrahmanirrahim. The Battle of Karbala is presented in the narrations of Mohammed and the Family of Mohammed (PBUH) as the "be all and end all" of cosmic events. It is the reason Islam exists today and it is the reason why the Qaim emerges. Okay, so it's a very vital, important event.

[2:17]All right, let's look at some of the narrations that kind of shed light on how important it is before we carry on. In this particular narration, it says that it is narrated that when Adam descended to the earth, he did not see Eve, so he started wandering the earth in search of her. He passed by Karbala and became distressed and his chest tightened without any apparent reason. He stumbled upon the place where Hussein was unjustly killed, until blood flowed from his legs. He lifted his head to the sky and said, 'My Lord, have I committed another sin for which I am being punished?' So he's reading that these things behind it there's a spiritual cause, right? That Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala surely would not cause him or allow him to be injured unless it was due to a sin from his own self. 'I have wandered all over the earth, and I have not experienced any hardship like I have faced in this land.' The land of Karbala.

[3:31]Then Allah inspired him, 'O Adam, you have not committed any sin, but your son Hussein will be killed unjustly in this land, and your blood will flow in agreement with his blood.' Subhan Allah. So Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala wanted to take some of the blood of Adam so that it may join in this great event, in this great sacrifice.

[3:59]Adam asked, 'My Lord, will Hussein be a prophet?' He replied, 'No, but he is the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.' Adam asked, 'Who will kill him?' He said, 'His killer will be Yazid, the cursed by the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth.' Lanatullah alayh. All right, let's give life to the Sunnah of Adam, and let's curse Yazid four times. Lanatullah alayh! Lanatullah alayh!

[4:36]Lanatullah alayh! All right, what about Noah? Noah also like Adam ended up passing over the land of Karbala. It says in one narration, when Noah boarded the ark, it sailed through the various lands. When it passed by Karbala, the earth pulled him down, and Noah feared drowning. He invoked his Lord, saying, 'My Lord, I have sailed through the entire world, and I have never experienced fear like I have on this land.'

[5:22]Gabriel descended and said, 'O Noah, it is in this very place that Al-Husayn (PBUH), the grandson of Muhammad (PBUH), the seal of the Prophets, and the son of the seal of the Successors, will be killed.' Noah asked, 'Who will be his killer, O Gabriel?' Gabriel replied, 'His killer will be cursed by the inhabitants of the seven heavens and the seven earths.' Noah cursed him four times, and the ark continued to sail until it reached Mount Judi and settled there. Let's give life to the Sunnah of Noah. Lanatullah alayh! Lanatullah alayh! Lanatullah alayh! What about Abraham? In another narration, it says that Abraham too, he had passed through the land of Karbala while riding a horse. Suddenly, the horse stumbles, and he fell from the horse. He injures his head and it caused his blood to flow. He began seeking forgiveness and said, 'My Lord, what did I do?' Notice he too, is thinking that he's only being injured because of a sin that came from him. This is the assumption of good, and the assumption of of truth against one's own self. At that moment, the Angel Gabriel (PBUH) descended to him and said, 'O Abraham, you have committed no sin. However, here in Karbala, the grandson of the Seal of the Prophets and the son of the Seal of the Successors will be killed. Your blood is flowing in concurrence with his bloodshed.'

[7:11]Abraham asked, 'O Gabriel, who will be his killer?' Gabriel replied, 'He will be killed unjustly by the one cursed by the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, and the decreed his condemnation on the preserved tablet without the permission of his Lord.' Thus Allah told the pen, 'You have earned praise by this condemnation.' So basically, it's saying here that God has the tablet. He has a Low and in the Low he wrote all things that were going to happen in human history. He writes it with the pen. As he was telling the story of Karbala, when he got to the point where Yazid kills Al-Hussein, the pen by itself wrote Al-Lanatullah Alayh.

[8:07]Isn't that incredible?

[8:40]Upon hearing this, Abraham raised his hands and cursed Yazid with many curses. Then the horse acknowledged his prayer with an eloquent tongue. Abraham said: 'What do you know that makes you witness my supplication?' The horse replied, 'O Abraham, I take pride in carrying you. When you stumbled and fell from my back, I felt ashamed, and the cause of this event is the cursed Yazid. Lanatullah Alayh.' Let's give, let's give a life to the Sunnah of Abraham. Lanatullah Alayh! Lanatullah Alayh! Lanatullah Alayh! What about Karbala and Ismail, the son of Abraham? It is narrated that Ismail (Ishmael) had his sheep grazing at the banks of the Euphrates River. The shepherd informed him that they had not been drinking water from that watering place for a certain number of days. They were refusing to drink from the Euphrates, the sheep. Ismail asked his Lord about the reason for this. Gabriel (Jibril) descended and said, 'O Ismail, ask your sheep, for they will respond regarding the reason.' He asked them, 'Why do you not drink from this water?' They responded eloquently, 'We have heard that your son Husayn, the grandson of Muhammad, will be killed here thirsty. Out of grief for him, we do not drink from this watering place.' Ismail asked them about his killer, and they replied, 'He will be killed by the one cursed by the inhabitants of the heavens, the earth, and all creatures.' Ismail then said, 'O Allah, curse the killer of Husayn.'

[10:32]Lanatullah Alayh! Lanatullah Alayh!

[10:39]What about Moses? It is narrated in a separate Hadith, that one day Moses was walking, and he was accompanied by Yusha ibn Noon, Joshua, the son of Noon. When they reached the land of Karbala, Moses's sandal tore apart, the strap broke, thorns pierced his feet, and his blood flowed. He asked, 'My Lord, what has happened to me?' Allah revealed to him that it was here that Hussein would be killed and his blood spilled, and your blood flowed in agreement with his.' Moses asked, 'Who is Hussein?' It was said to him, 'He is the descendant of Muhammad the Chosen One, Al-Mustafa, and the son of Ali, Al-Murtada.' Moses asked, 'Who will be his killer?' It was said to him, 'He is the cursed in the seas, the beasts in the wilderness, and the birds in the air.' They all curse him. Moses raised his hands, raise your hands, and he cursed Yazid, praying against him, and Joshua son of Noon affirmed his prayer and continued on his way. Lanatullah Alayh!

[11:53]Lanatullah Alayh! Lanatullah Alayh!

[12:00]What about Solomon? It is narrated that Solomon (Sulaiman) used to sit on his carpet and travel through the air. This is where the flying carpet myths come from, from Sulaiman. Because he used to control the wind. One day, while he was passing over the land of Karbala, the wind made his carpet spin three times until he feared falling. Then the wind calmed, and the carpet descended on the land of Karbala. Sulaiman asked the wind, 'Why did you stop?' The wind replied, 'Here, Husayn will be killed.' Sulaiman asked, 'Who is Husayn?' The wind responded, 'He is the grandson of Muhammad Al-Mukhtar and the son of Ali Al-Karrar.' Sulaiman then asked, 'Who is his killer?' The wind answered, 'The accursed one of the heavens and the earth, Yazid.' Sulaiman then raised his hands, and what did he say? Lanatullah Alayh!

[13:03]Lanatullah Alayh! Lanatullah Alayh! Zachariah. In another narration, it says, 'O son of the Messenger of Allah, inform me about the interpretation of Kaf-Ha-Ya-Ayn-Sad.' He said, 'These letters are from the news of the unseen, which Allah disclosed to his servant Zakariya, and then relayed to Muhammad.' This was because Zakariya asked his Lord to teach him the names of the five pure ones. Jibril then descended and taught him those names. Whenever Zakariya mentioned Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hasan, his grief would ease, and his sorrow would be lifted. However, when he mentioned Husayn, tears would choke him, and he would be overwhelmed with anguish. One day, he asked, 'O my God, why is it that when I mention four of them, I find relief from my worries, but when I mention Husayn, my eyes fill with tears, and my sorrow deepens?' Allah then informed him of Husayn's story and said, 'Kaf-Ha-Ya-Ayn-Sad.' The 'Kaf' stands for Karbala, the 'Ha' stands for the destruction of the progeny, the 'Ya' stands for Yazid, the oppressor of Husayn (PBUH), the 'Ayn' stands for his thirst, and the 'Sad' stands for his patience. When Zakariya heard this, he stayed in his mosque for three days, prohibiting people from entering upon him, and he dedicated himself to weeping and lamenting. His mourning was: 'O my God, will You afflict the best of Your creation with this calamity? O my God, will this tragedy descend upon his house? O my God, will You clothe Ali and Fatimah with the garments of this misfortune? O my God, will this anguish descend upon their courtyard?' Then he would say, 'O Allah, grant me a son who will joy my eyes in old age, make him my heir and a custodian, place him in the position of Husayn for me, and when You grant him to me, test me with his love, then afflict me with his loss as You will afflict Your beloved Muhammad with his son.' Allah then granted him Yahya (John) and afflicted him with his loss. The gestation period of Yahya was six months. So Zakariya wanted, wanted to suffer with Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. Look at that. Look at the type of prophethood, the type of mentality that he had. He hears of a misfortune that happens to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and he longs to share with them in this misfortune. And that is when Allah granted him with Yahya, and afflicted him with his loss. So the beheading of John the Baptist, the whole reason behind it was only because Zakariya wanted to feel something of that which Muhammad would feel.

[16:18]O Allah, send Your peace and prayers upon Mohammed and the Family of Mohammed, the Imams and the Mahdis.

[18:16]Karbala and the lands. In one narration from Al-Mufaddal ibn Umar, who narrated from Abu Abdullah (Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq) (PBUH), he said: 'O Mufaddal, the lands of the earth boasted, and the Kaaba boasted over the land of Karbala. Allah then revealed to it, 'Be silent and do not boast over it, for it is the blessed land from which Moses was called from the tree. It is the place where Mary sought refuge with the Christ. It is the valley in which the head of Husayn was washed. Mary washed Jesus there and purified herself for his birth. It is indeed the best of lands from which the Messenger of Allah Jesus ascended during his occultation. It will be the place where the choicest of our Shia will gather until the appearance of our Qa'im (Imam Mahdi).' So, brothers and sisters, please rise for a moment for the cameras.
