Assign the calibration schedules to a selected vendor, internal team member or both. You can define the asset specific calibration criteria to comply with standards defined and track the repeatability and reproducibility R and R study to demonstrate the measurement and tolerance level is qualified. After the calibration criteria and schedule is setup and activated, the system will automatically notify and create a calibration schedule. You can then perform the calibration activity. Based on its outcome, you can create an NC for the out of tolerance outcome and take actions like remove from the use, calibrate, repair, keep it as received or mark it unrepairable. You can also add other custom actions as required. In the closure activity, specify the details such as time took to complete, cost incurred, date returned to use, asset status, calibration result and much more. You can also print the calibration certificate to demonstrate the routinely calibrated instruments.
