Meryl Streep opened up about being asked to play Miranda Priestly again in "The Devil Wears Prada 2"

[0:00]This is 20 years later. I'm 76. I was 56. I thought I was washed up then. And now, you know, 20 years they dragged me back. It's like, what is that Pacino? Not my best Pacino. No, it was pretty good. I thought it was good. Yeah. One of the things people I've been hearing for 20 years is people say when I turn on the TV and The Devil Wears Prada is on, you can watch it from any point and you can't and you can't not watch it. Like if it's on, you sit down and you watch it to the end. And I just think the movie, something about David Frankel's direction, something about, you know, these geniuses, Patricia Field, it just casts a spell. And, um, and it's just, it's just sort of an evergreen film, where every time you, you watch it, it just, it brings you back to, to a feeling of, I don't know, possibility. But I think you're right. I think it's fun. I think people like to laugh and people love to look at beautiful clothes and I think people love to feel emotions and It's the perfect, it's the perfect Hollywood movie.
