[0:06]Kuch log to 9 se 6 ki, 9 se 7 ki, 9 se 8 ki, 9 se 9 ki, 9 se 12:00 baje ki naukri mein fasa hua hai. And kyu? Kyunki paisa kamaana hai, kyuki zindagi jeeni hai, kyuki yahi bataya gaya tha, aur yahi tarika humein samajh mein aata hai. Iss video mein panch aisi cheezo ke bare mein baat karenge jo har ek insaan ko janni zaroori hai, agar woh iss 9 se 5 ki rat race se bahar nikalna chahte hain. Financial freedom chahte hain, personal freedom chahte hain. Shuru karte hain, ek kahaani se, ek asli kahaani se.

[0:45]Saturday ko mujhe ye DM aata hai, LinkedIn pe. I live in a small place in Jammu and Kashmir. Main Jammu and Kashmir ke ek chote se gaon mein rehta hoon. I would like to ask you for an opinion. I gave the entrance exam CUET for Jamia in Delhi University and I failed in it. Maine basically exam dene ki koshish kari Jamia University aur Delhi University mein ghusne ke liye. Nahi ho paaya. I wanted to study where I could get networking opportunities and business opportunities. That's why I chose Delhi. Which is a fair thing to do. But now I have failed the entrance exam. I am from a lower middle class family. I am not that rich. Now I am stuck in a tier 3 college in Kashmir. There is no opportunity to grow. People here are not well informed. No business opportunities, no networking opportunities. I am stuck here. What should I do sir? Please help me, sir. Yeh sirf iss insaan ki kahaani nahi hai, bohot saare logo ki kahaani hai. Chahe aap student ho, working professional ho, kaam nahi bhi kar rahe ho, bohot baar humein aisa lagta hai ki jahan hum hain na, wahan hum phas gaye hain. We are stuck. And zindagi ka sabse bada sach jo maine apni zindagi mein 40 saalo mein seekha hai, woh ye hai, you are never stuck. Aap kabhi bhi kisi bhi cheez pe fase nahi hote. You are only stuck because you are scared to make the choices that you need to make. Aap tabhi fase hue hain kyuki aapko darr lagta hai unn decisions se jo aapko waakai mein lene chahiye. For example, isi shaks ki kahaani uthate hain. Ye ek tier 3 college mein hai. And shayad iss college se ab nikalna asambhav. Kya iska matlab unki zindagi kabhi bann nahi sakti? Galat. Maine unko kya rai di? Maine bola dost, aapko kis baat ka dar hai? Unhone bola ki mujhe logo se network karne ka mauka nahi milega, mere aas paas ke log inspiring nahi hai, main acche se padh nahi paunga. And maine bola, is har ek cheez ko baantne ki koshish karte hain. Padhai pe focus karte hain. Kya aapko waakai mein aisa lagta hai ki aaj ki sabse best padhai ek classroom mein milti hai? Kya aapko waakai aisa lagta hai ki aap jo sab kuch seekh sakte hain, you can learn only in a classroom from just one teacher? Duniya itni khul chuki hai. YouTube pe har ek kone mein knowledge hai. It is free. You just have to search. Aap jis cheez ke bare mein bhi jaanna chahte hain, jis cheez mein bhi maahir hona chahte hain, aap ho sakte hain. Koi bhi aapko rok nahi sakta. Aap duniya ke sabse best teacher se padh sakte hain, aap duniya ke sabse best courses le sakte hain and mostly, for free. That is how you escape feeling stuck where you are when it comes to education. Ab networking ke bare mein baat karte hain. Itne saare examples hain, jahan log Twitter pe, LinkedIn pe jaake content banate hain. Logo ke content pe comment karte hain. Unse connect karte hain. They make online friends. Unke saath ek community banate hain. Unke saath seekhte hain, unke saath badhte hain, unke saath opportunities baantte hain, share karte hain, aur unhi ke tehat opportunities milna shuru hoti hain. That is the world of today. Jitna aapko aisa lagega na ki aap ek hi jagah pe fase hue hain aur woh jagah aapko jakad ke baithi hui hai, utna hi woh sach niklega. Lekin jitna aapko aisa lagega ki aap ek panchi hain, kahi bhi ud sakte hain, nothing can stop you, you will fly high. That is completely your decision. And it comes to money as well. Bohot logo ko aisa lagta hai ki hum zyada kama hi nahi rahe hain. We are stuck. Abhi maine ek Money Matters khatam kiya jahan ek insaan ₹30,000 kama raha hai aur uske mahine ki zaroorat ka kharcha ₹20,000 hai. And in that conversation of ₹10,000, we figured out how much money can be saved, how much money can he put in his own investment, in his own knowledge, in his own growth, in his own skill and the financial investments he can make. Everything is possible. You can start investing with ₹500. Fear is all what you have. You think that it is not enough. You think that it will not happen. You are the one who is making yourself stuck, not your circumstance. Number 2: Ek aur DM, LinkedIn se. Hi Ankur, I need your help. I have taken your time management course but I still have not been able to manage my time. I want to do everything but I am unable to do it. I want to read, I want to work out, I want to sing, I want to spend time with family. I also have my work everyday. I want to have time for myself and my friends, but I am unable to manage my time everyday. How can I get some help? Sawal hi galat hai. Sawal isliye galat hai kyuki you want to win every single day. And koi bhi insaan har ek din nahi jeet sakta. Don't try and win the day, try to win the week. Har ek insaan ye galti karta hai ki woh ek hi din mein har ek cheez karne ki koshish karta hai. Use ek hi din mein padhna bhi hai, kaam bhi karna hai, family ke saath bhi waqt bitana hai, khud ke saath bhi waqt bitana hai, movie bhi dekhni hai, swimming pe bhi jaana hai, workout bhi karna hai, dosto ke saath bhi waqt bitana hai and ye sab kuch karte hue waqt pe sona bhi hai. Not possible. The way you think about your life is win the week. Har roz jeetne ki bajay har ek hafte mein jo aap karna chahte hain, usko jeetne ki koshish kariye. Look at my calendar. Ye main ye nahi bol raha hu ki mera calendar aur mera tarika hi sabse best hai. Lekin main ek example dena chahta hu ki main apni zindagi mein kaise kaam karta hu. Main har roz har ek cheez karne ki koshish nahi karta hu. Mere hafte mein har ek din ka har ek ghanta ya kuch slabs dedicated hai kaam ke liye. For example, Monday ko mera weekly shoot hota hai. To jo aaj main ye record kar raha hu, ye main sirf Monday ko hi karta hu. So every Monday, I record my YouTube videos, YouTube shorts, Instagram reels, my audio podcast. And then on Monday, our team, Warikoo ke naam se, unka ek weekly catch up hota hai. Then on Tuesday, I record my ads. So the ads of my courses that you have annoyed all of you, are recorded on Tuesday. Baaki completely free hai, but specifically on 3rd September, Tuesday evening, I have live classes of two of my courses. Then on 4th September, I am going to Dubai for a day. I have some work. But on that same Wednesday, I write my newsletter which is received by everyone on Friday. And then in the afternoon or evening, I have a review with my digital marketing team. On Thursday, there are two reviews of 15 minutes each in the morning with the LinkedIn and Instagram team and with the YouTube team. And then all the content that will go next week, I review it in an hour. Then it is completely open. But in the evening, HTI, which is a course for Instagram and Take Charge of Your Money, another course, have live classes.

[7:58]On Saturday, almost everything is free. I sit with my son for Maths practice. And Sunday morning, Maths practice again. And in the evening, I go to the gym with him specifically because he has just learnt how to go to the gym and I want to spend time with him. This is my recurring weekly schedule. Now you will see that I am not doing everything everyday. There are some things that are happening regularly every week. There are some things that happen regularly every day. My workout, my meditation that happens every day. But I don't try to do everything every day. I don't sit with Vidur every day. I don't take live classes every day. I don't review the team every day. I don't go on a lunch date with my wife every day. I try and look at my week and I plan what I want to achieve in that week in my life. This way, every week, I not just achieve my goals, I also take charge of my time and have time to do everything I want to do. This is what you have to do. If you are investing every day, you can't go up. If you are investing every day, you will not pick the right stocks, you will not pick the right mutual funds.

[9:16]You have to look at a longer term duration. 3 years, 5 years, 10 years. And in that time, try and win. And if you keep a long term perspective, you will definitely win. If you invest in the stock market for just 1 year, then your probability of return, positive return, do you know how much it is? 50-50. So, 50% times, you will earn money, 50% times, you will not earn money. Lekin isi 1 saal ko agar aap 10-year period bana dete hain, then you know what the probability of positive return is? 100%. Aisa koi bhi pichle 10 saal ka period nahi raha hai where the stock market has not given a positive return. In fact, the average return of 10 years has been 12-13%. And that is the equivalent of don't try and win the day, win the week when it comes to money. Teesri cheez, zindagi ka pura maksad sirf ek hi hai.

[10:11]Identifying that thing which you want to do for the rest of your life. Bohot log na jaldbazi mein lage hain ki yaar kya karna hai life mein? CA? Engineer? Lawyer? Doctor? Youtuber? Instagrammer? Decide quickly what to do and then do it for the rest of your life. It's like in the 11th grade, science, commerce or humanities. Take it with no logic involved. On the basis of marks, number ke wajood pe, number ke basis pe, hum woh decision le lete the. But we thought that decision was permanent. Now we are doing nothing with it. What you took in the 11th grade, are you doing something around it? Most likely, no. Things change. And that is true for your life as well. So whatever you want to do for the rest of your life, you won't get it overnight. It will be a journey. To evaluate that journey, you need a method. There is a good method of Ikigai. Pata nahi shayad naam suna hai ki nahi suna hai. Japanese term hai. Iska matlab zindagi ka purpose. That is loosely translated as Ikigai. And iske char hisse hain. Woh kaam jisko karne mein aap acche hain, woh kaam jisko karne mein aapko khushi milti hai. Woh kaam jo duniya ko chahiye aur woh kaam jisse aap paise kama sakte hain. Ye charo cheeze jab ek saath jud jaati hain, woh hai aapki zindagi ka maksad, aapki zindagi ka Ikigai. Woh aisi cheez, jisko karne mein aap acche hain, that you are happy to do, the world needs that thing, and you can earn money from it. When I was doing my PhD in the US, in Physics, which I wanted to do my whole life, I was extremely good at it. Main beintehaa acha tha, beintehaa acha tha, but I was not happy to do that thing. I didn't know the Ikigai concept at that time. Main itna smart tha hi nahi jitna main aaj hu aur aaj bhi nahi hu. Lekin ye baat humesha khatakti thi ki yaar tu iss cheez mein acha to hai, but I am not happy doing it. So if you keep doing this, all those dreams of life will come true, all luxuries of life will happen. Woh bangla, gaadi, shan-o-shaukat, woh sab kuch mil jayega dost, lekin shayad tu zindagi bhar khush nahi rahega. So find that thing that you are good at, and you get happiness in doing that thing. Now did I know what that thing is? No. Lekin mujhe ye pata tha ki woh journey to undertake karni padegi. And aisa nahi tha ki koi maa baap ka business wait kar raha tha, koi jaaydaad ya naukri ya koi dhandha wait kar raha tha, kuch nahi. Bohot hi saadhaaran parivaar se hu. Bohot mushkilo se maa-baap ne mehnat karke meri behan ko, mujhe padhaya, badhaya, shiksha di. Ek ghar diya, gave values, gave us love. And because of that, maybe I had the confidence that their hard work shouldn't get wasted. And that was what drove me. But that was also very clearly that the thing that I am not happy with, I can never be the best at doing that thing.

[13:16]It's impossible. Koi aisa insaan nahi hai who is the best in the world but he is not happy doing it. Woh sirf khush insaan hi jeet paate hain. So if happiness is so important, doing that work and doing it well is so important, then you have to find that thing. That's what I set out to do. Then after MBA, I remember when I got a job in consulting, I was very good at that. I was happy to do that. I used to earn a lot of money. In fact, I even made a video about how I went from ₹3 lakh to ₹33 lakh within 5 years. It's a very strange story, but it's true. It's my own story. But there never used to be a day when I used to say, this world needs consultants. I was a consultant at that time. It never used to feel that anyone would say this, if only there were more consultants in my life. I feel that consultants make their own importance because they have to sell themselves. And I felt that I was doing that. So despite this, I was good at this job. I used to get happiness in this job. I used to get money in this job. I didn't feel that the world needed this job. So this was also not my Ikigai. Today, I am teaching. Today, I am trying to teach you through this YouTube video, I am trying to teach through my courses, I am trying to teach through content. A job in which I feel that I am good. A job that gives me endless happiness. A job that the world really needs. And a job in which I can earn money for myself. So becoming a teacher for me, I feel, is my Ikigai. Teaching people, making them feel something from my life experience, this, I feel, is what I was meant to do. It will change forms. Today, I am doing this online. Tomorrow, I might have to do offline. Today, I am making courses. Tomorrow, I might have to set up a university. Everything will keep changing but teaching is what I will do because I am good at it. I get happiness, the world needs it and I can earn money from it.

[15:40]Number 4: Yeh galti young log, jawan log bohot karte hain. Maine bhi kari hai, but you have to overcome it.

[15:51]Be active with your income, passive with investing. Apni kamaai badhane ke liye sabse zyada mehnat kariye. Lekin us kamaayi hui daulat ko invest karne ke liye, invest passively. Don't put work into it. And people do exactly the opposite. Think about it. Kitne log hain jo apni naukri, apni salary mein numb se baithe hain? Living a lifeless life. They go there daily. They work. Sometimes they get scolded. Sometimes they get happy. Sometimes they get encouragement. Sometimes they get promotion. Sometimes they get increments. But in a way, in a lifeless manner, they get their salary. But when they get that salary, then there is a dilemma to invest it. Where to invest? Which stock to buy? Where to put it in F&O? Where to find which investment product? Invest in something new. Put it in crypto somewhere. Put it in P2P somewhere. Put it here, put it there. Roz mujhse log poochte rehte hain, where to invest? Where not to invest? If you put in this work to increase your earnings, then you'd be somewhere else. Get active with your income. No person makes money by saving money. Every rich person became rich by earning money. And you have to do that. There is no limit to how fast your earnings can grow. You must think that jobs will stop you. You think that the economy will stop you. You think that the country will stop you. You think that reservations will stop you. You think that the growth of the industry will stop you. Har ek cheez ki koi seema nahi hai kyuki hum ek aisi duniya mein reh rahe hain. Where you can work from anywhere for anyone just by being online. You have a job, keep it, but that shouldn't be the only income source. You can make multiple income sources. Hustle to build that income. To increase that income, invest as much as you can in yourself. Invest as much as you can in your knowledge, in your skills. But when that money is earned, then invest that money passively. Every month, do an SIP. And when that money goes, don't look at it. Forget it for 5, 10, 20 years because that money is compounding slowly. It is growing so well that you cannot imagine it. But it is growing. Work hard for your income. And then, invest and forget. That's what I do. My mind, my entire mental agency is only to increase my income. How can we launch a new course and bring students? How can we do more talks, collaborations and earn more money? How can we generate a new income stream? How can we launch new startup ideas, business ideas? And once that is happening, whatever money the company earns, after paying taxes, after paying expenses, whatever is left, it is invested with full determination. And it keeps growing. Recently, I made a video where an investment of ₹50 lakhs has become ₹10 crores in a matter of 4 years. How has that happened? Only the income invested in the right assets and just forget about it. Yes, in the last 4 years, there has been a different, blind growth. I don't expect that to sustain. Yes, this ₹10 crores may become ₹8 crores, may become ₹7 crores, may become ₹6 crores. I also know that these ₹10 crores will become ₹100 crores. It will just take time. I am not in a hurry. I enjoy focusing on my income and I enjoy investing and forgetting about it. That's what I would recommend to you as well. And then finally, play a little. Thoda sa kheliye. What do I mean by that? Life doesn't have to be boring. I know that I am a boring person. I can wear the same clothes everyday, eat the same food, do the same routine. I don't feel bored. I don't want variety in life. But not every person is like that. And that's perfectly fine. I totally understand. So, I always say that with your knowledge, with your money, with your relationships, play a little. And what does play mean? Playing means not damage. Khel-baad nahi. Playing means you are willing to take risk with a little bit of that to see where it can go. For example, your money, if I have an investment of ₹100, out of that, I have put ₹5 in crypto. Why? Because I have faith in crypto. I have faith in its technology. But I also know that it is a kind of gamble. It will either become very big or it will go to zero. But I am okay to make that happen with 5% of my money. I will not put 50% of my money on it, but 5% is acceptable for me. So I have bought 1 Bitcoin, 10 Ethereum, 100 Solana and have kept them. And they are just there. I neither buy more nor do I ever wish to sell them. I am patiently seeing where it goes. If it grows, good. If not, no problem. I know this is 5%, it will not increase. Same thing with your skills as well. You have a foundational skill but there is something that you have because of which you feel that something new can come out of this.

[21:42]Something can be done with this. Let's try and see what it can be. So you have a stable job, but you put 5% time on generating a side income or on your startup idea. You don't quit your job like fools. You keep your job and put 5% of your time, 5-10% of your knowledge on that startup idea and see what becomes of it. 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months. But at some point, it will unlock. At some point, it will become big. Or it will tell you that it can never become big. And in both these situations, you will know what you have to do next. After 12 months, if it becomes big, then quit your job. You will have the confidence. You may also start generating income from this. And you will know that you will not be at a dead end. If it didn't work, then you knew that it's good that you didn't quit your job and focused 100% on it. You basically take mini steps. Same thing with relationships as well. Some people are there with whom you have to go out and play a little. Take a little risk. Go out and see whether they can become your partner. They can become your best friends. They can become somebody that you do business with, that you live your life with. And that will only happen if you are ready to take such a challenge that you will have never taken otherwise, but you are willing to give 5-10% in that. In life, some excitement is needed. It keeps you engaged. It keeps you on your toes. Investing, for example, it can be very boring. Salary comes in, SIP goes out, it happens every month. Where is the excitement in life? Okay, if you want excitement, 5% of your money, do whatever you want to do with it. You want to do F&O, do F&O. You want to buy crypto, buy crypto. You want to do intraday trading, do it. Do it as you wish with 5%. Make that your play money. See where it goes. But don't gamble the 95% of it. That must be secure. Your knowledge, income and relationships are secure. And then you go out and see what can happen from that play money.

[24:18]Play a little. Kyunki khelne mein hi aap aage badhte hain. That will keep your life exciting. Combine these 5 things and you will then realize you have a way of living life. Getting out of this 9-5 rat race, that 9-5 ruckus, that should not be a compulsion for every person. Your life is only going to be there once. Live on your own terms. Live however you want to live. You should never feel that you are forced to live this life because you are not. Ankur Warikoo, signing off.
