[0:00]And now come to the call it So the phrasal verb call it It also carries figurative meaning. Like he said to stop somewhere or to stop at a place especially for transportation. But even we can generally use This is one of the meanings that suppose especially for transportation example is the train will call at three station before reaching Lahore. So the train will be stopped, train will take break at three places before reaching Lahore or before reaching Karachi, before reaching Mumbai, Bombay, Delhi, whatever you say. So you can use the example. So apart from that it has another meaning that called it means to visit type of or a kind of place, a kind of music. Yesterday I called it Universal Museum. Yes, yesterday I called it Museum. Yesterday I called it historical cinema of Karachi. So there are so many usage. When you visit certain place or when you stop somewhere, I mean the the particular example of related to transportation. So there are two usage. If I put in a simple and in our native language, to call it ka matlab ye hoga kisi jagah pe thehne ke liye hum called it istemal karte hain verb aur ye zyadaatar transportation ke liye istemal kiya jata hai jaisa ki ye example diya gaya hai ki gadi teen stations par rukegi. Teen jagah thehreigi Lahore pahunchne se pehle ya Lahore pahunchne se matlab Lahore ke station aane se pehle. Toh aap Lahore bhi add kar sakte hain Karachi, Mumbai, Delhi jo aapse related shaher ho is tarah se isko use kar sakte hain ya jis tarah se ye usage mein aaye aapke routine mein. Aur dusra iski example ye hoti hai ki hum kisi historical place ko ya kisi place ko khaas jagah ko visit karein. Museum ko, cinema ko, kisi tariki masjid ko, mandir ko to uske liye bhi hum ye istemal karte hain ki called it. Main kahoon ki kal main jo hai woh Sind Museum gaya tha to main usko hi kahunga ki I called it Sind Museum yesterday, or yesterday I called it Sind Museum. Now the other phrasal verb is call up. The phrasal verb call up carries three meanings. Uh here I have mentioned two, but I'll add one more. The first one is to make telephonic call. If I say that I called up my cousin last night example is given. I called up my brother last night. So I made a telephonic call. The other example is to call someone. Someone means kisi ko bulana. To call someone for military service or for police service for firefighting service. So there are so many usage. So you can say that he was called up for army duty. He was called up for firefighting, so there are so many. And the other usage is to recall something, to remember something. If I say that last night I called up my childhood sweet memories or my childhood memories. So I called up my childhood memories. So other usage you can use when you recollected something, when you try to recollect or remember something. So the other usage of call up is that. So if I put in Urdu to mai ye kahunga ki call up ko hum teen tariko se istemal karte hain. Iske teen usage hain is phrasal verb ke. First ye hai ki to make kisi ko aap telephonic call karein. Dusra iska usage ye hai istemal ye hai ki aap kisi cheez ki service lena chahe. Ya service aapse demand ki jaye. To jaise maine example diya tha I was called up for firefighting services. To is tarah se hum iska istemal karenge. Aur teesra iska istemal ye hai ki aap kisi cheez ko kisi cheez ko yaad karein, kya ek silsila ho yaadon ka. Ya kisi cheez ko aap pre-collect karna chahen. Yaad karna chahen, bulana chahen, sochna chahen, soch vichaar karein aur usko pre-collect karein. Toh jaise maine example diya tha ki maine apni bachpan ki yaadon ko kal raat jo hai woh recollect kiya ya yaad kiya ya woh jo hain bin bulaaye chali aai. Ya maine khud se bula liya. Toh bachpan ki yaadein hamesha meethi hoti hain, toh isliye main example use kiya ki last night I called up my child childhood memories. Toh teen tarah ke usage ho gaye. Call up hum itni jagah pe istemal karte hain in teen jagahon pe. Other phrasal verb is call in. Call in carries two usage. One, to ask someone to come for help service, or other one is to visit briefly. So the phrasal verb call in is used when you seek help from someone to rescue you. It could be, you know, related to your health, it could be related to your house. Suppose if you say that the firefighting service is called in to rescue our house. Okay. And the other example is related to visit briefly that I'll call in later, check on you. So I will come to you and visit you that how is everything going on with you. So I just visit briefly. So check on means you just, you know, just check on what's going on, some brief visit. Okay, so there are two example call in. If I put in a simple language in Urdu, call in ke do usage honge. Ek jab aap kisi se help lena chahe, madad lena chahe aur usko bulaaye madad ke liye. Aur main dusra example jagah ko kisi bande ko visit karna briefly to hum kahenge ki main aake dekhta hoon ki kis tarah se kaam chal raha hai. Main thodi der ke liye aaunga zara si der ke liye aur phir main chala jaunga. To ye iske do istemal hain major call in phrasal verb ke. Umeed hai ki ye samajh mein aa gaya hoga aapke. If we summarize these eight phrasal verbs, so the purpose of phrasal verbs is to beautify the language or any language. Whatever you speak, suppose your language is Urdu, Sindhi, English. So the basic purpose of phrasal verbs they always you know, beautify your language. So if you don't want to say so many words, you just use these two word. Called on, called up or other phrasal verb to carry your intentions. So instead of using so many words, you can use just two words to carry the idea to convey your message to audience, to listeners, spectators. So in this way we can, you know, summarize in phrasal verbs. Uh thank you very much students. This brings me to the end of the lecture.
