At the time, the man was holding a knife, and the patrolman repeatedly urged him to drop it. After several attempts, the man eventually complied and put the knife down. I got a knife on me here. He argued that people have the freedom to do as they please, claiming that the land belongs to everyone. He also said that the officer's actions felt like a violation of his rights.
