And then finally, number three, I will give you three examples of top-scoring answers in a live interview and all you have to do is choose which answer option you think is the strongest. So, to begin with, why is the hiring manager asking you the tough interview question, describe yourself in three words? They are asking you this question to assess whether you know yourself, and how you are going to contribute to their company. If you don't know yourself, and more importantly you can't describe yourself in three words, you probably won't be able to add value to their team. Now, whenever you answer the interview question, describe yourself in three words, make sure you tell the interviewer how the three words you give them will be of benefit to their company in the role that you will occupy. So before I give you those three live answers in a job interview to the question, describe yourself in three words, let me give you a list of 12 words you can use to describe yourself in an interview that will resonate positively with the hiring manager. Word number one is industrious. This is a great one. If you are industrious, you work hard, you find things to do when it is quiet, and you strive to continuously improve. Word number two is diligent. Now, a diligent worker is someone who has strong attention to details skills, someone that can be left alone to do a good job on time and to the right standard, and someone who takes pride in their work! Word number three to use when describing yourself is self-motivated. Now all employers want to take on self-motivated people. Because if you are self-motivated, you don't need to be told what to do, you need very little motivation, and you are always enthusiastic about your work. Word number four is energetic. Now energetic people often bring a buzz to the working environment. They are generally positive people who achieve more than the average person! Energetic employees often make great sales people and they are driven to achieve difficult targets. Word number five is resilient. This is a great one. Every team needs resilient people. Because if you are resilient, you don't get stressed when under pressure, you are good at solving problems, and you don't give up until you have achieved your objective. Word number six is personable. Now, if you are personable, you are good to be around, customers or clients will be drawn to you, and you will always go above and beyond what is required in the workplace. Word number seven to use when describing yourself in an interview is loyal. Now, if you are loyal, you will stay working at the company for many years to come. You will be a good role model when dealing with customers or clients, and you will always speak positively about the organization you work for. Word number eight is data-driven. Now data-driven people are great in technical job roles. So, if there is a requirement in the job you are applying for to use numbers or analyze data to come up with solutions, then you might choose the word data-driven when describing yourself. Word number nine is co-operative. Now, co-operative people are the type of employees who will support the company when changes are needed. Finally, I am adaptable because I am the type of person who will always take on duties outside of my job description, and I will also help out your business at short notice as and when needed. So for example, if you need me to work extra hours or duties, I will always do that, and I will be prepared to cover the work of co-workers who are ever off work sick. Describe yourself in three words. The three words I would use to describe myself are results-driven, trustworthy, and self-motivated. So in my last role, my manager often praised me for the amount of work I got through, and how I always came up with innovative ideas to help the company grow and improve. And I will always represent your company positively when communicating with customers and clients. Finally, I am a self-motivated person.
