And when it's finally time to check out, he maxes out three credit cards one after another. Even the cashier can't help but ask what's going on. But the man only offers a worried warning: "You should go home." The moment he steps outside, it's already dumping snow everywhere. That makes it nearly impossible for Jiven to push his cart full of food. But he hasn't gone far when up ahead a car starts ramming into a tree like it's gone berserk. Jiven immediately senses something's wrong and rushes over to check. After getting no response from inside the car, he carefully inches closer. That's when he sees the driver is in a seriously messed-up state. "Don't open the door. I got a kid with me." The next second the driver starts coughing violently. Seeing that, Jiven doesn't dare stick around. He quickly turns and walks away. "What was wrong with him? Don't look at him. Let's just go." Meanwhile, the hospital where Jiven's sister works has already turned into hell on earth. The ER hallway is jam-packed. Every patient has almost the same symptoms: flushed red faces, nonstop coughing. A lot of them are already barely conscious, their bodies limp. Doctors have no idea what to do. No one expected this life-saving hospital to become ground zero for a viral outbreak. And everyone knows it full well: an unstoppable catastrophe has already arrived. On the other side, Jiven is standing outside the supermarket with the little girl, packing up the huge bags of supplies they just grabbed. Even though Molly is still young, she can tell something isn't right. She keeps asking Jiven what's going on and why they bought so much stuff. But Jiven doesn't explain much. Because right now, staying alive is all that matters. Next Jiven heads to the apartment where his brother Frank lives. He explains the situation to the security guard downstairs, saying all that food behind him is for a Christmas party. The guard doesn't think twice. After confirming with Frank over the intercom, he lets them in without any trouble. But just as they're waiting for the elevator, a woman suddenly walks over. "Can I squeeze in with you guys? It's really full. I think if I just kinda angle it, I can--" "It's f*cking full." Jiven never forgets his sister's warning. When the end of the world hits, you can't trust anyone. No contact with strangers, no exceptions. Once they get inside Frank's place, Frank looks totally confused. His brother shows up in the middle of the night out of nowhere, and on top of that he brings a ton of food and a little girl. But Jiven is already in a terrible mood and insists the apocalypse is coming. Frank doesn't believe a word of it. But while they're arguing back and forth, a deafening roar suddenly explodes from outside. Then a plane clips the side of the apartment building and crashes. The massive fire instantly lights up half the night sky. And after witnessing that horrifying scene with his own eyes, Frank can't say another word against it. From this moment on, they're no longer ordinary people in peaceful times. They're survivors thrown into the end of the world, fighting to stay alive. But is that stash of supplies really enough to keep them going?
