And then she worked as a business systems and data analyst at Teldon. Then ma'am served as a systems transformation intern at Rocky Mountaineer. And then she joined Deloitte Consulting as a manager. In 2018, she joined Google as a finance system manager. Currently, she is working at Google as Head of Programs & Portfolio. So please join me in welcoming ma'am Asima Khokhar. Ma'am, we are very excited for this webinar. Thank you so much for your time and efforts. So, I'm screen sharing off, and guest over to you. Thank you so much, ma'am. Thank you so much. Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Can you hear me? Wa Alaikum Assalam, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Um, Muskaan, there are two hands up.

[8:35]So though, I think there are hands up, so, um,

[8:48]Ma'am, I was moderating, but if we, ma'am, as you say. Either we take questions, or we start the webinar. Please start with questions and then I can start my presentation.

[9:02]Alright. Sir Alyas. Sir, please ask your question.

[9:25]Okay. Moving to the next. Sir Quaid Khalid. Assalamu Alaikum ma'am. Thank you so much for your time. Ma'am, I am currently doing PhD at the University of Southern Mississippi, it's my first semester. I joined this, I joined this fall. And I am also a co-worker member. So, my question is that, here, with studies, how can I carry out all these things like my internships or my end goal is to join FAANG or MAANG, like you. So what do you suggest here? That right now, what path should I take or how should I carry out all these things so that I can balance my studies and also carry out my preparations? Please give some hints. Thank you so much. Um, thank you, Quaid. Um, the presentation will exactly cover this subject, that what do I suggest, the path to Big Tech. So, Inshallah, hopefully, um, at the end of the presentation, you will get some answers, and if you have specific questions after that, I will be happy to answer, but I think the presentation will exactly cover this subject.

[11:51]Alright, ma'am. Dr. Mohsin. Sir, please ask your question. If you have.

[12:06]Assalamu Alaikum ma'am. I am a CMA student, so ma'am, there is a question from my side that I have gained a lot of experience. Because I have gained experience in my CMA journey. I know how to do accounting like that. So ma'am, is there any such internship in Google or internationally, such an internship that I can do to earn remote income? Because I am also a CMA student, so I know a little bit about accounting, finance, like that, and I am also doing BBA. So, can you guide on that, ma'am? And what is CMA stand for? What is CMA? CMA Chartered Management Accountant. Okay. So is that the, um, is that the Canadian designation? No, it's a Pakistan. CMA is international designation like a CA. Okay. So short answer, internships are difficult, very, very, very difficult right now, especially finance. People who come into finance, you do your CA, where are you doing your CA from, which accounting firm are you associated with? I am in Bit for KPMG. Okay. So, let me, let me cover. But if we come to the short answer to your question, that which I will cover with the crowd as well. There's no back channel. If you have not gone to Google Careers and searched within finance, my recommendation would be to do that. And if there isn't an internship for finance, there isn't being offered. I do know for CA, it will likely not be an internship.

[14:22]It will likely be more of an entry-level position, and entry-level positions also require a few years of experience. So hopefully, what I will tell you generally will help, but in your specific case, I can't tell you. There is no such thing as an internship in finance. It's a very big organization, a trillion-dollar global company.

[15:07]I do not hire in finance, but if there is a position, it will be on their career site. So I recommend you go take a look, and if you don't see anything, that means finance isn't hiring, but if you do see something posted, that tells you what kind of experience they're looking for.

[15:33]Alright ma'am, ma'am thank you. I hope. Here's the struggling.

[30:40]So I thought this is it, this is my journey so far into Google. I would like to say, my journey to where I am so far. Google is probably just not the destination, just a pit stop. We never know where life is taking us.

[31:38]So this is the, the biggest lesson that I would want to start with.
