[0:00]Allah the Almighty had said to the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) "I shall cause thy message to reach the corners of the Earth" This is proof that we are seventy to eighty kilometres away from Bobo-Dioulasso a remote area, a village where there is no paved road to reach. But the message of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) has reached and such a sincere Jama'at has been established that Allah the Almighty has blessed us with the opportunity to build a mosque. And all the scenes that Allah the Almighty has shown us these are proof that Allah the Almighty is fulfilling every promise He made to the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him). By the grace of Allah the Almighty, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at of Karia was blessed with the inauguration of a new mosque. Karia is a village located approximately 80 kilometers from the city of Bobo-Dioulasso. A small Jama'at has been present here since 2008 and now by Allah's grace the Jama'at has been enabled to construct its own mosque. First, a small mosque was built here where members of the Jama'at would offer their prayers.
[1:39]This is a village that is very far from the city and the road is not paved and during the rainy season the path becomes impassable. Neither a car, nor a motorcycle, nor even a bicycle can pass through. And if one has to walk, they must remove their shoes. This is the condition of this village. But Masha'Allah, the faith of the Jama'at members is very strong. The foundation stone of this mosque was laid in 2025 and within one year the mosque has been built. During the construction, the members of the Jama'at continuously participated in Waqar-e-Amal and made financial sacrifices. One more thing worthy of mention is the extraordinary sacrifice of the President of Jama'at at Karia. He donated a cow for the inauguration, the value of which could be as much as five hundred thousand CFA francs. He said, "We are village people, we do not have cash money, but whatever sacrifice we can make, we will make it." And he donated a cow so that it may be slaughtered and the guests of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) may be hosted with hospitality. This is indeed a great blessing of Allah the Almighty and Allah the Almighty has shown us so much grace that from the beginning to the end of this mosque's journey we have witnessed the signs of Allah's support and help at every step. During the construction, several challenges were faced, including the poor condition of the road. Whenever it rained, the area would flood, making travel extremely difficult. Despite this, respected Muallim Wedraogo Dauda Sahib demonstrated remarkable sacrifice by transporting the mason everyday to the village on a motorcycle until the mosque was completed. The inauguration ceremony was held on Saturday, 14th of February 2026. On this occasion, Mukarram Kamar Ahmad Sahib, Ameer Jama'at Ahmadiyya, Burkina Faso accompanied by a delegation arrived from Ouagadougou. The program began at 12 o'clock noon with the recitation of the Holy Quran. This was followed by a welcome address by Mukarram Traore Saidu Sahib, local Sadar Jama'at. Then, Mukarram Hassan Jangani Sahib, Regional Missionary, delivered a speech. Various distinguished guests were invited to share their thoughts. After this, Ameer Sahib gave the concluding address, emphasizing the importance of offering prayers in congregation and maintaining the cleanliness and sanctity of the mosque. The mosque was then formally inaugurated by cutting the ribbon by respected Ameer Sahib, followed by a collective silent prayer. The Zohar prayer was then offered in congregation. More than 200 people attended the ceremony. I am Agida from the TUYINA Police, Dauphini Ta Stanislas, the Representative of the Commissioner of BANZO. Given everything that has taken place here, this is about social cohesion and that is exactly what we are seeking in today's society. With the current crisis that Burkina Faso is going through, if Islam, through your association, could increasingly build stronger bonds of harmony within the population, it would be an immense pleasure for us to say, "Thank you for what you have done for the population of KARIA." We pray earnestly to Allah the Almighty that He may grant us more and more victories and bless us with the opportunity to render increasingly accepted services. Ameen.
