[0:00]a lot of developments here but again, the headline today, Ali Larijani, a top Iranian official killed in strikes overnight. A senior Israeli official tells me the intelligence leading up to these strikes is part of a joint US and Israeli effort. Guys, just some analysis here, Trey, knowing that he was the hardliner. He was arguably more important than the 86-year-old Ayatollah. And you have the president who is known more of an intellectual, a scientist, who is more of a moderate. With Larijani out of the way, do you believe the character of the of what's left of the Iranian ministration and the decision-making changes. This is a great question and look, Larijani again was considered one of the last major well-known hardliners. There are a variety of Shia clerics and others who help to support the Iranian regime that is splintered in many areas. But when we think about who's left and who's in charge, it's a major question right now. And we saw just a number of officials on Friday at Quds Day in Tehran, walking through the streets and Larijani was giving live television interviews, almost flaunting to the Americans and the Israelis that he was able to walk freely among the Iranian capital and then just days later, he's targeted and taken out in a precision strike. As for who's left, we do have uh President Masoud Pozesian in terms of a more moderate official, but he was largely on the political side not with deep ties to the IRGC and some of these commanders that have been taken out. But again, I think the major question here that we have to look at, who is in charge of Iran at this moment and who is commanding these forces in the field who are still launching drones and missiles at Gulf countries and Israel.
