[0:00]Hello, everybody, and welcome to this edition of the program. Great to have you with us. Uh this time out we're going to talk about something very, very interesting in terms of the way that we interact with media. And it seems that, uh, the new way to do it is to give people more control than they've ever had before, to be able to dictate exactly how they're going to get the content and what they're going to consume. And for this, we welcome, uh, Eric and, uh, it's great to have you with us, Eric. And, uh, it's, you know, this is a topic that I, I, I find very fascinating because, you know, we, we, we're at a day and age, particularly with, you know, the younger generation, they want to be in control. And you guys are helping them to get there. Yeah, it's it's so true, right? I mean, you look at, you know, people today, especially with the kind of content that's out there, right? I mean, there's so much content to choose from in so many different platforms that you want to be able to dive in and watch what you want, when you want, how you want. And that's why we've, you know, basically focused on the whole area of live sports and, you know, how do you make that more engaging, more exciting, more personalized, uh, you know, for the fan. And, you know, how do you, uh, empower the fan to kind of choose their own adventure, so to speak, right? And, uh, you know, we're talking about, uh, you know, this whole concept and it's called Watch Party. And, you know, so many people are using this, particularly now, you know, during the pandemic and so on, but it's really the new way. It's not just about, you know, getting the product and watching it, it's about being involved with everybody that you want to watch it with. Yeah, exactly. I mean, we we like to say, you know, Watch Party is about bringing the stadium to your living room and bringing your friends to your living room all at the same time, right? So you can basically enjoy a live game with your friends. You can see and hear your friends as you're all enjoying the game, you can celebrate, you can commiserate, uh, and, you know, you can do all that, you know, live and interactively. And, uh, you know, it's a very exciting new feature for live sports. And, you know, you're doing this not only with, you know, your friends and family, but you can do it with celebrities, you can do it with athletes, and you know, you're, you're taking it to a whole new level. Yeah, I mean, that's really where it gets super exciting, right? I mean, if you look at, you know, today with all the social media, you have all the athletes, you know, who are so accessible to fans. And what Watch Party does is allows them to engage with their fans in a truly unique way, right? You know, imagine watching a game with, let's say, your favorite athlete, you know, maybe a famous, uh, you know, former coach or current coach or current athlete. Uh, and you know, that really takes the experience to a whole new level. And so, you know, you're going to get all this, you know, extra interaction. And, uh, you know, for you, Eric, this is something that you feel very, very passionate about. I mean, this is something that's really near and dear to your heart. It is, I mean, I'm a huge sports fan. Right? I mean, I love watching sports. And you know, for me, I I want to watch it with my friends. And, you know, in this day and age, you're not always together in the same living room, right? But with Watch Party, you can still experience that together. And, you know, that's what's so great about it. And, uh, you know, particularly now, you know, if you're stuck at home and so on, it really gives you that feeling, hey, I'm still connected with everybody. It's it's like a new form of the word social, but it's, you know, still with that, you know, ability to interact. And, uh, you know, what's going to be the next step for you guys? I mean, where where do you take this from here? You know, we're really focused on, you know, bringing this to other sports and other geographies. We just did a deal, uh, you know, which we announced with the Big Ten Network. So now we're going to bring this to the college football and college basketball fans. Uh, and you know, we're just really excited about, you know, bringing this to other sports and, you know, other media companies around the globe. And, uh, you know, you're expanding as well with, you know, new employees and so on, too, right? Yeah, we're definitely expanding. You know, we've got a lot of exciting things that are happening. And, you know, we're really at the forefront of, you know, bringing these new interactive, personalized, social experiences to live sports. And, uh, you know, this is going to be something that's really going to change the face of how people watch their sports. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. It's, uh, you know, this is a product that, uh, you know, as you said, you're very passionate about. And, uh, you know, great to have you with us. Eric, thank you so much. Thanks for having me. And, uh, you know, for all of you out there, if you haven't checked it out, you know, you need to check out the Watch Party. It's, uh, really going to enhance your life, particularly now when you need that kind of social interaction. So for all of us here, thanks so much for joining us. We look forward to seeing you again next time.
