[0:00]Hello, everyone. My name is Matt. I am the senior manager for product strategy and delivery here at Tech Smith. And my name is Daniel and I'm a product owner at Techsmith for a new product we're working on related to training content. And today we are really excited to share some of our perspectives on how we have been thinking about the evolution of the learning and development space here at Tech Smith. We've been doing a lot of market research and working with several industry experts and thought leaders to really help us shape how we think about the challenges and opportunities that we have in this space. And we're going to share that perspective with you today. When we think about the evolution of learning and development, it's really helpful to go back and think about how things have changed over the last 100 or so years. And so if we go all the way back to the early 1900s, this is really when we saw the emergence of the industrial age. And with the industrial age came things like assembly lines and factories. And with that, there was a need to create training content for these new workers to be able to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. And so if you think about this, this was really the emergence of what we think of as formal training programs, instructor-led training and things like that. As we move into the 1950s, this is really when we started to see the emergence of what we would call the information age. And with the information age came things like computers and databases and the internet. And with that came a need to create training content that was more accessible and more flexible. And so this is really when we started to see the emergence of things like e-learning and blended learning and things like that. As we move into the 2000s, this is really when we started to see the emergence of what we would call the knowledge age. And with the knowledge age came things like social media and mobile devices and cloud computing. And with that came a need to create training content that was more personalized and more engaging. And so this is really when we started to see the emergence of things like microlearning and gamification and things like that. And so now we're in the 2020s, and this is really when we're seeing the emergence of what we would call the experience age. And with the experience age comes things like virtual reality and augmented reality and artificial intelligence. And with that comes a need to create training content that is more immersive and more interactive. And so this is really when we're starting to see the emergence of things like experiential learning and adaptive learning and things like that. So now that we've talked about the evolution of learning and development, I want to hand it over to Daniel to talk about some of the challenges and opportunities that we have in this space. Thanks, Matt. So when we think about the challenges and opportunities in the learning and development space, it's really helpful to think about them in terms of three different categories. The first category is content. So when we think about content, we think about things like how do we create content that is more engaging, more personalized, more interactive. The second category is delivery. So when we think about delivery, we think about things like how do we deliver content that is more accessible, more flexible, more immersive. And the third category is measurement. So when we think about measurement, we think about things like how do we measure the effectiveness of our training programs, how do we measure the impact of our training programs on business outcomes. So now that we've talked about the challenges and opportunities, I want to hand it back over to Matt to talk about some of the ways that Tech Smith is thinking about addressing these challenges and opportunities. Thanks, Daniel. So here at Tech Smith, we're really excited about the future of learning and development. And we're really focused on helping our customers create content that is more engaging, more personalized, more interactive, more accessible, more flexible, more immersive. And we're doing that by focusing on three key areas. The first area is what we call content creation. So we're really focused on helping our customers create content that is more engaging, more personalized, more interactive. The second area is what we call content delivery. So we're really focused on helping our customers deliver content that is more accessible, more flexible, more immersive. And the third area is what we call content measurement. So we're really focused on helping our customers measure the effectiveness of their training programs, measure the impact of their training programs on business outcomes. So we're really excited about the future of learning and development here at Tech Smith. And we're really focused on helping our customers create content that is more engaging, more personalized, more interactive, more accessible, more flexible, more immersive. And we're doing that by focusing on these three key areas: content creation, content delivery, and content measurement. So thank you for your time today.
