[0:00]Hey, it's Mike with all about pressure washing. And in this video, I'm gonna give you my top five pressure washing machines for beginners. This is probably one of the most requested videos that I've gotten since I started the channel. Everybody wants to know what pressure washing machines they should buy. You're just starting your business. So I'm gonna give you five machines that I recommend. I'm gonna start with a machine that I don't recommend that you buy. And I'm gonna give you a list of things to look for when you're buying a machine. First, let's look at the machine that I don't recommend you buy. And that is this little Green Works electric pressure washer. And the reason I don't recommend that you buy this is because it's only good for washing your car. And it's really not even that great for washing your car. You're never going to use this for pressure washing a house or a driveway or anything like that. I have this in my garage and it just sits there. I really don't use it. You can't connect a surface cleaner to it. So just don't even waste your money with this machine. I want you to start off with a gas powered machine. All the machines that I'm gonna recommend are gas powered machines. And I'm gonna go from a cheaper machine up to a more expensive machine. So my number five recommended machine is the Simpson Mega Shot 3200 PSI 2.5 gallons per minute. It's a really good starter machine. The engine on it is a Kohler engine. It's a three year warranty on the engine. It's a five year warranty on the frame and a one year warranty on the pump. You can connect a surface cleaner to it. It's a really good entry level machine. If you're looking to spend anywhere from three hundred to four hundred dollars. This is a good machine for you to start out with. So let's look at my number four recommended machine. That is the Ryobi 3300 PSI 2.3 gallon per minute machine. And I'm gonna tell you, Ryobi, it's a really good machine. Now the engine on it is a Honda GCV 190. You can get three year warranty on the engine. You get a three year warranty on the frame and a one year warranty on the pump. This machine is also good to connect a surface cleaner to. It's a really good machine for just starting out. It's a little bit more expensive than the other one. It's anywhere from four hundred to five hundred dollars. So if you're looking to spend a little bit more money, this is a good machine for you. My number three recommended machine. Is the Simpson Power Shot, the 3600 PSI 2.5 gallons per minute machine. This machine has a Honda GX 200 engine on it. So it's a really good engine. You're going to get a three year warranty on the engine. A five year warranty on the frame and a ninety day warranty on the pump. You can connect a surface cleaner to it. It's a really good machine. I actually have this machine in my arsenal now and I love it. It's a really good machine. I've used it many times and it's worked really well for me. This machine is gonna cost you anywhere from five hundred to six hundred dollars. So if you're looking to spend in that range, this is a good machine for you. My number two recommended machine. Is the Simpson aluminum forty two hundred PSI 4.0 gallons per minute machine. This is a really good machine. It's a belt driven machine, which is gonna save you a lot of headache in the long run. And what that means is that the pump itself is not directly connected to the engine. It's connected by a belt. So if you ever have any issues with the pump, you can just change the pump out. If you have an issue with the engine, you can just change the engine out. It's gonna save you a lot of headache instead of having to change the whole machine. And then you can get a lot more out of the pump as well. You can get over 2000 hours on the pump because it's belt driven. The engine is a Honda GX 390. It's a really good engine. You're gonna get a three year warranty on the engine. A five year warranty on the frame. And a ninety day warranty on the pump. You can connect a surface cleaner to this. This machine is gonna cost you anywhere from one thousand to twelve hundred dollars. So if you're looking to spend a little bit more money and you want a belt driven machine, this is a really good machine for you. My number one recommended machine. Is the North Star 4000 PSI 3.5 gallons per minute machine. This machine has a Honda GX 390 engine on it. So it's a really good engine. It's also a belt driven machine. So you're gonna be able to swap out the pump or the engine if you have an issue with either one of them. You're gonna get a three year warranty on the engine. A three year warranty on the frame and a five year warranty on the pump. Which is really good. You can connect a surface cleaner to this. This machine is gonna cost you anywhere from one thousand to fifteen hundred dollars. So if you're looking to spend a little bit more and you want the best machine, this is a really good machine for you. Now I'm gonna give you a list of things to look for when you're buying a pressure washing machine. The first thing you want to look for is a gas powered engine. Don't waste your time with the electric machines. They're really not that good for what we're doing. They're only good for washing your car and even then they're not that great. So just don't even waste your money with those machines. The second thing you wanna look for is an engine that has a good warranty on it. You want an engine that has at least a three year warranty on it. That's a really good engine. If it has anything less than that, then I don't really recommend it. The third thing you want to look for is an engine that is four stroke. Don't waste your time with a two stroke engine. You're gonna have to mix gas and oil in a two stroke engine. And it's really a pain in the butt. Just get a four stroke engine. It's gonna save you a lot of headache in the long run. The fourth thing you want to look for is a machine that can connect a surface cleaner to it. You're gonna be using a surface cleaner for washing driveways, sidewalks, patios and things like that. So you're gonna want a machine that can connect a surface cleaner to it. The fifth thing you wanna look for is a machine that can put out a good amount of gallons per minute. Anything under two gallons per minute, it's really not that good. So you want a machine that can put out at least two gallons per minute. The last thing you want to look for is a machine that has a good warranty on the pump. You want a pump that has at least a one year warranty on it. That's a really good pump. Anything less than that, then I don't really recommend it. So that's my top five pressure washing machines for beginners. I hope this video helped you out.
