[0:01]Welcome to the 3C Live experience. A dynamic multi-racial fast-growing church with thousands of believers filled with passion for God and for people. Let's join 3C in this live experience. Are you ready for the word? So ready. Amen. So we're going to be looking at part two. The leader within, say to me the leader within. And the text is Matthew chapter 28 and verse 16. The 11 disciples went away into Galilee to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted, and Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, all authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth. Go therefore, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I've commanded, and lo, I am with you always until the end of the age. Amen. The last words that Jesus spoke in his life. And last words are always loudest. It's an, it's an exclamation mark on the life of Jesus Christ. It is the climax not just in Matthew, but for the New Testament. So if you want to know why we're here, if you want to know why the church exists, if you want to know what we're here for, if you want clarity in the world in a in in in a place of noise, it is here where we understand that to us has been given the commission to go and make disciples.

[1:51]Not go and build a crowd, not go and build a brand, not go and host events, not go and impress people, but every single one of us are called to do what? Go and I can't hear you. Do what? Go and make disciples. So if we get that right, that's how we glorify God. How does your life glorify God? By fulfilling the mandate, fulfilling the commission, seeing sinners saved and transformed by Jesus. The greatest demonstration of love is someone who's going to hell to introduce them to Jesus so that he can change and transform their lives so their life is not a life of hell and also then they're not going to hell. Can I get a big amen there? But once again. Once again, our responsibility is then to model how to love people and to inspire people to do the same. And therefore, every Christian is a leader. Say to me, every Christian is a leader. Say it again, every Christian is a leader. And last week, we looked at Hebrews chapter 10 and verse 24, where it said there, let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, watching over one another. Bump your neighbor. Say, I'm watching you. I'm watching you. Okay. We watch over one another. Watching over one another means to take responsibility for one another. Are you getting me? So watching means I take responsibility for you. And someone is watching you. Someone's watching your life. So yes, you're watching over others taking responsibility, but someone is watching you. Someone is watching what you're doing. Your kids are watching you, your spouse is watching you. Those at work are watching you. And maybe you seem insignificant, but somebody is taking you seriously even though you don't know. So you are leading. Every person is a leader. Plus, the command is to go and make disciples. Plus, the command is to watch over one another. And that is how you develop and grow in the Lord. You don't develop and grow as a human being without being watchful, without taking responsibility.

[4:27]So, when you just focused on yourself, and just getting by, just making enough money, just so that I can eat. Not watching over whether somebody else also eats. Just trying to get by, maybe you're overwhelmed, maybe you're stuck in yourself, whatever it is that you're going through. See if your eyes are on yourself, where are your eyes pointed? To the ground. If my eyes are on myself and pointed to the ground, can I see? No, I cannot see, which means you don't have vision. So the Bible says that he who does not have vision, the Bible says, my people perish. He says they run wild. He says people that don't have vision are out of control. And that's why when coming to to to um uh to your life, if you focused on your needs and you focused on your wants, and you focused on your life, you've got no vision. You've got you don't you don't have capacity, but here's the thing, nothing nobody can do anything for you until you watch. We can medicate you. We can give you time off. You can take a sabbatical. Sabbatical's not going to fix you. Your medication's not going to fix you. Why? Because you're still focused on yourself. You're looking at yourself. You still don't have vision. So you can treat the symptoms, but you don't treat the root.

[6:02]So it's only when you lift up your eyes and you start watching others. Are you hearing me? You start thinking about others, their needs, what they are going through. Helping them to grow and then also to take their eyes off themselves, because that's how you mature, that's, that's how you grow. So every person is a leader. Whether you think it or not, you're a leader. Every person is responsible. The question is not whether you're a leader, the question is who are you leading for? How are you leading? Are you leading other people to hell? Are you leading other people to live in hell? Are you leading other people, you know, are you leading other people to destruction? Because if you're not leading to build, you're leading to destruction. There isn't a middle. So people watch you. Watch you at work. They watch to see how you react when you're treated unfairly. And then what they do is they do the same. If you're throwing your little toys out of the cot as if you don't have control, and you this little, this little. Guess what? Now you raise the other youngsters and the others that are learning to be like that. See, but it's a, but but but it's important to understand, you've got to lead us. So which means you need to you need to learn. You need to develop. You need to grow.

[7:37]But to be able to grow, you need to understand continuous watching over one another, when you care for one another, now you start, you lift up your eyes and you start seeing. It's difficult to be depressed if, it's, you know, if you're not thinking about yourself. See, you you're only depressed if all you think about is yourself and your circumstances. I mean, that's look, let's get into some mental health. The Bible's a lot to say about mental health, and mental health's a real issue. But in the society where you are today, we treat the symptoms. So we don't treat the root cause. Are you guys hearing me? In other words, when I'm going through stuff, how do I overcome? Because life is going to come after you. Life, the devil is a liar. He's a killer. He's a destroyer. There's evil in life. Like there is good, there is evil. Are you hearing me? And it comes after you, but how do I work through that? How do I handle that?

[8:47]You've got to learn, you've got to grow. You can't be sitting on a little heap feeling sorry for yourself and crying. No, you need to conquer, not for your sake, but for your children's sake, for your spouse's sake, for the country's sake. You can't be speaking like everybody else and talking like everybody else. No hope, no future, no faith.

[9:10]Are you hearing me? No, no, no. There's hope in Christ. There's faith in Christ.

[9:18]No matter what we're going through, no matter what the devil throws our way, it doesn't matter what teach this country. It doesn't matter what we are going through, God is still in control of our lives. Can I get a big amen there?
