He was also a companion of Prophet Musa, who accompanied him during the Exodus and led Bani Israel after his death. One day during a Friday, he was in a battle in Jericho fighting the idol worshippers and the sun began to set. This man was worried because if the sun set, it would be Saturday, the Sabbath, which was the holy day and it was forbidden to fight during this day. So he pleaded to Allah to stop the sun to which Allah answered and stopped the sun from setting and won the battle. This man was none other than Yusha, peace be upon him.
