[0:00]Agriculture drives India's growth, yet agritech lags behind other frontier technologies. With labor shortages, rising costs and overuse of chemicals threatening productivity and sustainability, the call for smart, practical and home grown solutions is urgent and India is answering it. X machines is a homegrown agritech company founded in 2017 by Trivikram Kumar with Dharmateja Mediboina as COO and Vinil Reddy as CEO. The company focused on bringing intelligent automation to agriculture. The team has developed three AI powered agricultural robots that support key farming operations, including sowing, sapling transplantation, weed management and targeted spraying, powered by artificial intelligence and cloud connectivity. Using AI and sensor data, the machines identify weeds and nutrient deficient plants, spraying only what is needed. This reduces chemical use by up to 30% while boosting crop yields by 10 to 15%. Their flagship X100 platform covers approximately 4 to 12 acres in an 8 to 10 hour day. The result is smarter input usage, lower operational costs and farming practices that are both economically and environmentally sustainable. With prices ranging from 2.5 to 4 lakh rupees, the robots are often owned by rural entrepreneurs and offered as services, expanding access to advanced technology for small and marginal farmers. Today, X machines solutions are being deployed across Telangana, Karnataka and Haryana, addressing labor gaps and strengthening on field productivity. Built through constant engagement with farmers, the technology reflects real needs, real conditions and real impact on the ground. By combining AI with field ready design, X machines is helping shape a more resilient, efficient and future-ready agricultural ecosystem for India.
