[0:00]Hello, my name is Paul, and I'm one of the customer success managers here at Serosync. In this video, I'll be going through how to best set up your Serosync account to give you the best chance of success. Once you've signed into your Serosync account, you'll be brought to this homepage here, and you'll see on the left hand side a bunch of options. If you go ahead and click on your name and then click on company settings, that will take you into the company settings where you can update a lot of the details here. I suggest you take a look here and just go through everything, making sure that your team is set up correctly, that you have the correct team members, and that the address is all up to date. Once you've done this, the next most important thing to do is to connect your zero account to sync. To do this, you just need to click on the Xero button here, and then you'll see a button here that says connect to Xero. You'll need to click on that, and it will take you through a number of steps. You just need to put in your Xero login and then choose your company that you want to connect, and then once you've done that, it'll bring you back into Serosync, and you'll see that your Xero account is now connected. It is important that your zero account is connected, as this is how Serosync gets the invoices and other data that it requires to create your reports. Now that you've got your Xero account connected, the next thing that I would do is to connect your sales channels. So you can see here, you've got a number of different sales channels that we connect to. Let's say, for example, you have a Shopify store, just go ahead and click the connect button here. Again, it will take you through a number of steps to go and connect that Shopify store. And once that's done, it will bring you back into Serosync, and you'll see that it's now connected. It's really important that you connect all your sales channels because this is where Serosync gets a lot of the data for your reports. So if you're wanting to see sales data, cost of good sold, gross profit, all that sort of stuff will come from your sales channels. So it's really important that you take the time to go through and connect all the sales channels that you are using. Once that's done, you're pretty much ready to go. It will take some time for the data to import, so don't worry if you don't see anything right away. Usually, after about an hour or two, you'll start to see a lot of data coming into your account, and you'll be able to see a lot of the reports that we have available. If you have any issues with any of this, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. You can reach them by clicking the little icon down the bottom here, and that will open up a chat where you can chat with our team, and we'll be more than happy to help you out.
