[0:00]From the moment you gave your life to Jesus Christ, something incredible happened in the spirit realm that you probably never knew about. God didn't just forgive your sins and give you eternal life. He assigned a specialized team of angels to work with you for the rest of your life on earth. But here's the shocking truth. Most Christians don't even know it. Every time you open your mouth to pray, those angels are always waiting and ready to jump into action. Angels get their orders from the Holy Spirit that lives inside you because they listen to God's word. This is super important to understand. They are like God's workers with specific jobs and they respond when God's word is spoken through you. The first type of angels you have in your life are known as ministering spirits or ministering angels. These types of angels mainly focus on bringing you important information, revelations and direction through dreams, visions and supernatural guidance. They are the messengers who carry God's messages directly to you. In Hebrews chapter 1 verse 14, the Bible says, are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them, who shall be heirs of salvation? The word ministering means to serve in an important job or to do sacred work. They could minister to you through dreams, visions or even physically if need be. Think about Joseph. In Matthew chapter 1 verses 20 to 21, it says, But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary, thy wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. Joseph was having a hard time making a decision whether to marry Mary or not, but as he kept on wondering, God sent an angel to tell him to go ahead and marry her. This wasn't just a nice dream. This was a ministering angel delivering life-changing information that would affect all of human history. Joseph got divine information that completely changed his understanding and his actions. Without this angel showing up, Joseph might have quietly left Mary, and the whole plan of God could have happened differently. The Apostle Paul himself also experienced this supernatural information system. In Acts chapter 27 verse 23, Paul says, for there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve. Paul was getting crucial information about surviving during a deadly storm. This ministering angel brought him specific details about what would happen and how many lives would be saved. Don't get confused between the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of angels. Both are entirely separate ministries but complement each other. The Holy Spirit's main function is to keep your relationship established with God. He works internally while the ministry of angels focuses on your external. For example, the Holy Spirit can convict you of sin because he works from within, but an angel cannot convict you of sin. The Holy Spirit lives inside of you, but an angel cannot live inside of your body. But here's the key, they only respond to the Holy Spirit inside you when you're lined up with God's Word and seeking His direction. If you are not subject to the Holy Spirit, they will not be subjected to your commands. The second type of angels assigned to your life are guardian angels. These are your supernatural bodyguards, your divine security team that works 24/7 in the spirit world to protect you from dangers you can see and dangers you can't see. In Psalm 91 verses 11-12, God makes this incredible promise. For he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways, they shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. The word charge in Hebrew means to give a clear command or assignment. God has literally given angels the specific job of keeping you safe. This isn't just nice poetry. This is a divine security system that works better than anything human technology could ever create. Your guardian angels are position to protect you from accidents, attacks and dangers that you don't even see coming. The word keep in this passage means to guard and protect. Think of it like this, your guardian angels create an invisible fence of protection around you. They're not just watching, they're actively defending you. But here's what's amazing, these guardian angels are all about keeping you safe, but they work together with God's will and your cooperation with his word. The third kind of angels in your life are warfare angels. These are the spiritual combat specialists who fight your battles in the spirit world. While guardian angels protect you from danger, warfare angels go on the attack against demonic forces and spiritual enemies that try to mess up God's plans for your life. In Daniel chapter 10, we get an incredible look into this invisible war. Daniel had been praying for 21 days, and when the angel finally showed up, the angel explained what had been happening. In verse 13, the angel says, But the prince of the kingdom of Persia, withstood me 1 and 20 days. But lo, Michael, one of the chief princes came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia. This passage shows us that there was an actual battle happening in the spirit world while Daniel was praying. Warfare Angels were fighting demonic forces to make sure that Daniel's prayer would be answered and that the message from God would reach him. Michael's name means who is like God, and he's specifically called an archangel who leads God's army in spiritual warfare. But Michael isn't the only warfare angel. There are countless angels assigned to fight for believers. Here's a warfare truth that will transform your battles. Your warfare angels aren't fighting because you're begging them to help you. They're fighting because you're declaring God's word and walking in your authority as a believer. When you speak God's word over your situation, when you declare his promises over your family, when you command demonic forces to leave in Jesus' name, you're giving your warfare angels the spiritual ammunition they need to fight effectively. In 2 Kings chapter 6 verses 16 to 17, Elisha's servant was terrified when he saw the enemy army surrounding them. But Elisha prayed, and the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Those chariots of fire were warfare angels ready for battle. The same spiritual reality exists around you right now. When you're facing spiritual attacks, money problems, family fights, or health challenges, your warfare angels are positioned and ready to fight. But they need you to speak God's word and stand in your authority as a believer. Think of it like this, you're not fighting alone. You have an invisible army backing you up. But this army responds to commands, not complaints. When you declare by his stripes I am healed instead of just saying I'm so sick, you're giving your warfare angels something to work with. The fourth type of angels working in your life are healing angels. These are supernatural beings specifically assigned to bring divine healing and restoration to God's people. This is maybe the most misunderstood type of angel ministry, but it's absolutely biblical and incredibly powerful. In John chapter 5 verses 2 to 4, we read about the pool of Bethesda. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool and troubled the water. Whosoever then first, after the troubling of the water, stepped in, was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. This is absolutely amazing. Even when Jesus was walking on earth, angels were still actively involved in healing ministry. This tells us that divine healing through angel ministry didn't stop after the New Testament. It's still happening in God's kingdom today. The word troubled in this passage means to stir up or to set in motion. This angel wasn't just gently touching the water. This was a deliberate supernatural activation that released healing power into that pool. God has healing angels assigned to minister to your physical body. Now this doesn't mean you should pray to angels or ask angels to heal you. That would be completely wrong and dangerous. Angels are servants of God, not objects of worship. Your prayers for healing should always go to God the Father in Jesus' name, but God absolutely can and does assign healing angels to carry out his healing power to sick believers. The Hebrew word for healing means to mend, to cure, or to make whole. When God decides to heal someone, he can use doctors, medicine, supernatural touch, or he can assign healing angels to carry out his healing plan. Think about this amazing truth. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God has assigned supernatural beings to help maintain and restore his temple. Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 says, but he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. When you declare this promise over your body, when you speak healing scriptures over your sickness, you're giving the Holy Spirit inside you the opportunity to direct healing angels to minister to your physical needs. Maybe you've experienced sudden healing that doctors couldn't explain, maybe you've felt a supernatural touch during prayer. Maybe your condition improved in ways that defied medical expectations. These could be healing angels carrying out God's healing plan for your body. Understanding how angels work is crucial for every believer who wants to live in the fullness of God's protection, guidance and power. Angels don't respond to your emotions, your desperation or your circumstances. They listen to God's Word. When angels hear God's Word being spoken through you by the Holy Spirit, they immediately recognize divine authority and respond accordingly. Angels are activated by God's Word spoken in faith, not by human reasoning or emotional appeals. In Psalm 103 verse 20, David says, Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his Word. Angels don't just have strength, they excel in strength. The Hebrew word means mighty warrior or champion. These beings have incredible power, but that power is released when they hear the voice of his Word. This means that when you pray according to God's Word, when you declare his promises over your life, when you speak his truth over your circumstances, you're literally giving angels their marching orders. The Holy Spirit inside you communicates God's will through your mouth, and angels respond to that divine voice. Think of it like this, angels are like spiritual soldiers waiting for commands, but they don't take commands from your emotions or your problems. They take commands from God's Word spoken through you by the Holy Spirit. As a believer, you're not just someone who has angels around you. You're someone who can work together with angel ministry through your understanding of God's Word and your faith in his promises. This is why studying the Bible is so important. You can't work together with something you don't understand. When you live according to God's Word, when you speak his promises, when you walk in obedience to his commands, you create an environment where all four types of angels can work freely in your life. Your ministering angels can bring you clear guidance, your guardian angels can provide complete protection. Your warfare angels can win decisive victories, and your healing angels can bring supernatural restoration. Here's how this works in everyday life. Instead of just complaining about your problems, start declaring God's promises over them. Instead of just worrying about your safety, start thanking God for his protection and declaring Psalm 91 over your life. Instead of just begging God to heal you, start declaring that by Jesus's stripes you are healed. The next time you feel alone, remember that you have an invisible army surrounding you. The next time you face a battle, remember that warfare angels are waiting for You to speak God's word. The next time you need guidance, remember that ministering angels are ready to download divine wisdom. You are never alone, you are never defenseless, you are never without supernatural help. God has surrounded you with angels, and they're waiting for you to work together with their divine assignments through your faith in God's word. This isn't just nice theology.
