I am recording it to send out to all the parents and anyone who purchased the live stream as well. Um, but I do own this wonderful place and it's a pleasure of teaching my two most talented students ever, who were Tonia and Ellie and now are graduates of both real kids and Boulder music and all sorts of things and are the most amazing human beings ever. And they directed today's show. So they are going to introduce. And all the kids of course signed a big fairy tale book for you. Um, which has the Cinderella story. It was actually really hard to find a Cinderella story for the notes. So you have all the very first
[0:53]Um, awesome. Well, welcome to our production of Cinderella. It is a modern makeover, so expect no pumpkins and ball gowns. Expect lots of social commentary. It was actually rewritten, mostly written by Tonia and myself. Um, so we hope you enjoy. I hope some of the jokes land. Um, your kids are incredible. They had two weeks of three and a half hour days and that is just simply not a lot of time. Um, and they put on this whole show and they they had a lot to do with the whole creative process, which is really cool to see them, um, create with us rather than us tell them what to do. Uh, some some logistical things. Our bathroom is actually a cast only bathroom, so if you do need to use the restroom, you can head over to Target or you could head across the way to the park. We don't have an intermission because the show should only be about 45 minutes. So it's nice and short, short and sweet. Um, we have emergency exits. You can exit here to the front door. We also have emergency exits in the back, should there be an emergency. Um, please take your cell phones out and silence them. You can take photos, just no flash photography, all of that good stuff. And let's see. We have a lot more going on at real kids. We are staying afloat during COVID, so if you're interested, we especially have a screenwriting camp and acting for film camp, so if any of that interests you. We also for our older students do have a show called Music of Fire that was written by our very own Kelly McCallister, and we will be putting that on. It starts not this coming week, but the week after, um, and it's really fun. It's a whole conglomerate of like Shakespeare and wild theater, drama and lots of things. So it's quite fun, quite hilarious. Um, and then we also have two shows so far happening this fall semester. We are putting on rent, definitely for our older kids. And we are also doing the descendants, which is very exciting. So if you're interested, please check all of that along with our film troop. We have so much going on. Um, I think that's all as far as real kids things. We also have Boulder music, which is also amazing if you're into the music side of things. Um, as a logistical thing as well, um, please keep your masks on during the performance. Yep, the students will not have masks on when they're on stage, they're performing. We need you to keep your masks on. Um, and then to take pictures and greet the, um, the kids out, uh, after the show, we ask you to do that outside so you can take pictures and. Candidate should have a college degree and should have demonstrated interest in cleaning up the environment. Interviews will be held on Monday in the local Shazam on office with Johnny Danzo himself.
