[0:09]Hey everybody, my name is Mollie McCarl. Anytime I'm talking with students about their journey through college planning, I always ask, what is most important to you in choosing a college? What does your college fit look like? Hopefully, you've done some research into what this might look like for you individually. But it's really important to remember that college is not a one-size fits all scenario for every student. I want you to think of college as any education after high school that leads to financial stability. Think about your different degree types. Are you looking to get a certificate and start working right away? Maybe you're thinking of beginning at the Community College, earning your associate's degree, and then you'll transfer to a university and earn a bachelor's degree. Perhaps for you, you're thinking long-term about medical school or law school. Exploring colleges and doing your research gives you the opportunity to decide what is most important to you in the process. Maybe it's financial fit, the programs offered, location of the college, or even the student to faculty ratio. As a student, you have many options when it comes to finding your own college fit, and you have great college options right here in Mississippi. From Community colleges, to public universities and private colleges, your ideal college might look different from where your family attended or where your best friend ends up going. Find the college that fits you best. And hey, never hesitate to reach out to the recruiter for your college to request more info, schedule a campus visit, or do a bit of career exploration. These are just a few different ways that you can continue to build on creating your best college fit.
