[0:00]nearly 200 targets deep inside Iran have been struck over the past few days by land, air and sea. That does include this Iranian drone carrier being hit by US forces.

[0:10]And just yesterday, US B2 bombers dropped dozens of 2,000-pound penetrator bombs targeting deeply buried ballistic missile launchers. But the Islamic regime still carrying out strikes in nations across the Middle East. You're watching Fox and Friends First here on a Friday morning, I'm Todd Piro. And I'm Ashley Strohmier in for Carly Shimkus. Let's get right to Trey Yingst in Tel Aviv with the very latest on the ground, Trey. Ashley, Todd, good morning. We know the Iranians are continuing their attacks against Israel. Overnight, we watched as these missiles soared through the skies of this country. You can see in this video here some of those slamming into the sea. There were no injuries reported overnight, but those sirens sounded again this morning with some damage just outside the city limits of Tel Aviv. Now, the Israelis are going after these missile launching positions, the IDF releasing some new video showing strikes against at least six different ballistic missile launchers in Iran. The Iranians are still trying to get off these missiles and some of them have cluster munitions on the warheads that are making it very dangerous for the population below here in Israel. And overnight, a new statement from Israel's chief of staff saying this. I am in continuous contact with my American counterparts, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Dan Kaine, and the commander of Centcom, Admiral Brad Cooper. We are fighting based on shared interests and values. In this war, shoulder to shoulder, they are true friends. Through coordinated action, we are stripping the regime of its military capabilities and bringing it to strategic isolation and a point of weakness in which it has never been before. The Israelis are looking east, but they're also looking north where the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah continued its attacks over the border. The Israelis striking back in the Doha neighborhood of Southern Beirut with what they say is their 26th wave of strikes against this Hezbollah stronghold. Tens of thousands of people have evacuated the area following orders from the IDF. And as this is taking place in Lebanon, we're also tracking developments out of the Gulf, where sirens sounded overnight in Kuwait and other areas. The Qataris and the Emiratis both shooting down incoming fire overnight. We're also getting new statements from Iranian officials who are commenting on the ongoing conflict. We have no option just to put an end to the presence of United States in the surrounding area of Iran. We told Americans and we told our neighbors that if they would like to put an end to the existence of the greatest civilization on Earth or the oldest continuous civilization on Earth. Then we have no option just to put an end to the existence and presence of United States in the Persian Gulf area. Tough talk from the Iranians, but the reality is it's the Americans and Israelis who are putting an end to the ballistic missile threat and Iran's nuclear aspirations. They continue to hammer the Iranian regime with these strikes. And we heard yesterday from the Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who indicated this is just the beginning. Guys. Trey, quick question for you. We're getting reports out of London that four people have been arrested for spying on the Jewish community to benefit Iran. The thought process being the number one assumption that you make from that is that this is setting up a possible terror attack in London. With what you just reported, the degraded military capabilities of Iran, the fact that 60% of the missile launchers are now gone, the fact that we know they have a finite amount of missiles and so many of them have already been used. Do you anticipate that this, a potential terror attack somewhere either in London or elsewhere throughout one of America's allies, is the next phase in this war for Iran considering their military is so degraded? Look, it's a major concern for countries around the world, understanding that the Iranians have sleeper cells and individuals in other countries that could target US assets or the Jewish community in these areas. We know the London police say that overnight around 1:00 a.m. they arrested four individuals, one of them an Iranian citizen, two, excuse me, with dual citizenship and they say these arrests took place along with six other individuals who were detained for assisting those four. And it's a major concern, not just in the UK but around the world, understanding that these Jewish communities could be targeted if the Iranians try to respond on the ground in other places. And we have seen the reality when there are attacks against the Jewish community. We saw in Bondi Beach in Australia earlier this year, where 11 people were killed when terrorists opened fire there. And so, the London police announcing this overnight again that four individuals were arrested, one Iranian citizen, three dual nationals and six other individuals who were assisting them in what the London police say were attempts to target the Jewish community there. Yeah, I mean and obviously, sleeper cells have been something that people in America are very concerned with and have been for a long time, but especially now. Trey Yingst, thank you so much. We're going to bring in former Army Black Hawk helicopter pilot battalion commander and international military strategist, Lieutenant Colonel Darin Gaub. Lieutenant, thanks for coming on with us this morning. Um, you know, yesterday President Trump says he wants to be personally involved in selecting Iran's next leader. Um, you know, what are your thoughts on this? Because that's a pretty big flex of American power, which I assume is what Trump is is wanting to prove here. Yeah, good morning, Ashley. Um, it is a big flex and I think you're hoping that in the result of that, it's part of that conversation that the intent is to maybe put somebody into Iran who can be a transitional leader between the moment where we could declare some sort of military victory, begin to rebuild a government, but ultimately end with some form of an election, maybe or at least the development of a more free and prosperous government that the people of Iran choose.

[6:11]And so when he's saying that, I don't think he's thinking that we're going to pick some leader for Iran, force them on the force that person on the people of Iran in some sort of permanent status almost. This this is more of a, okay, we need something to bridge the gap between the the end of hostilities and the building of a stable government that we can help with. But in the real end is the the end is the and the answer is that the Iranian people really need to pick their own government and their own leadership in order to continue to move forward and and become what we think that the people of Iran can be, which would be a free and prosperous nation once again.

[6:48]Right, like it what it used to be. You know, the president, he sent a very clear message to members of the IRGC. I want you to listen to this and we'll talk about it. I'm once again calling on all members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the military and the police to lay down their arms. They're only going to be killed. So you'll be perfectly safe with total immunity or you'll face absolutely guaranteed death and I don't want to see that. You know, Lieutenant, considering, you know, taken into consideration that they do back down. They do lay down their arms. Is this a good move to give them immunity considering what their track record has been? Well, you're going to have mixed results with that. Of course, this goes back to one of the lessons we learned from Iraq because we went into Iraq and we disbanded the entire military and ultimately that forced us to become the the military and the National Police Force for the entire country. Uh, so giving immunity to everybody in the IRGC, uh, there are going to be those who take advantage of that, but don't change their philosophy and and just become weaponized inside their own country. But there will be those who are part of the IRGC, who are only there, frankly, to try to make a living for their family and who are going to be willing to actually set down their arms, maybe gain that immunity and and join whatever the future looks like there. But within the IRGC, uh, there's the Kuds Force and that Kuds Force is probably one is probably the largest percentage of the people who, uh, you can't really grant immunity to because of what they've done to the people of Iran. You know, what's the end goal here in your opinion? I mean, because how long can we go on funding this? Well, I I think the uh, the four to six weeks as far as a military campaign is is a safe number to put on it for right now. And and that would mean they we can achieve the military objectives that are that have been laid out and those that maybe they haven't quite shared yet. But, uh, that's when the greatest risk of this entire operation begins is as you transition from winning the war to trying to establish and win the peace. Uh, that's when you're going to see the greatest risk towards this mission as a whole because now it's up to the Iranian people to grab hold of it and do what they can to to help free their nation again from their own dictators. And I think the hope there is that that is the success we do actually see, uh, the Iranian people running their own country and becoming a part of the community again and not such a hostile neighbor to everybody around them. Yeah, and hopefully this does give them, you know, the ability to live free and prosperous, um, with a, you know, with what's going on right now. We'll see though. Lieutenant Colonel Darren Gap, thank you so much.
