And as for his atomic breath, it was able to boil a large quantity of seawater, which actually gets into the mountain level ranges of energy at worst. Godzilla tanked this amount of energy and it also means that if Godzilla used the atomic breath for a prolonged period of time, he could totally evaporate minus one, leaving nothing from the regen from.
