[0:00]How is it going, everybody? So I have a very, very exciting and kind of different video today because I just got the Hit N Move face bar headgear.
[0:08]And I'm going to do an unboxing, I'm going to spar later. So I'm going to do a full review in this video and I'm going to be 100% honest because I've been looking for an honest review on this and I haven't really found one.
[0:19]I'm also going to compare it to the Rival Face Saver headgear. So, let's do an unboxing, let's get a review done and uh, I'm excited. So let's get started.
[0:32]It only took about a week to show up, which is awesome. And it just came in like a regular box and this bag, that says hit and move.
[0:52]So I also got large XL, there's two sizes, there's small, medium and large XL. And I got a big old cover zone. Ooh, boy.
[1:03]Ooh, boy. Alright, first impression is it's extremely light. Like extremely, like this feels like, look at the size difference.
[1:14]between these two. Yes. Yes. You can see that, look at the nose bar difference. Look at this nose bar. Look how tiny it is.
[1:25]Um, I'm going to make another video eventually about all types of headgears because I've been sparring for like five, six years.
[1:33]And I've used face savers, I've used open face, I've used Mexican style cheat guard headgears. And uh, there's a big difference between all of them, but one of the reasons I like a face saver is because I don't know if you can see on camera, but I have a pointy nose.
[1:46]So, my nose sticks out this way. So I feel like it's very susceptible to, uh, breaking, right? Because it's pointy. So I feel like I need a face saver for my nose.
[2:00]If you have a flatter nose, you probably don't need one as much, but look at this thing. Guys, it looks like a sandwich, like cut in half, like Loes Griffin, style nose. So I need a face saver.
[2:09]And uh, this one just like wasn't doing it for me. Okay, so first, first things I notice are the size. It it's really, it looks tiny.
[2:17]I'm just bringing this one for reference because this is like a normal face saver, but like the bulkiness is way, it's way different.
[2:24]Yes, it looks tiny. Um, the nose guard is nice and thin, which is great. I never understood why a nose needs to take up your whole mouth.
[2:32]It seems comfortable, but I'm not going to know how comfortable it is until I try it on. So I'm going to try it on for you guys and then I'm going to do a in-depth deep review after I spar with it as well.
[2:42]Okay, so, just put it on. As you can see, I was talking about my pointy nose and my pointy nose is like perfectly covered. So if you have a big schnaz, I wouldn't worry. Yeah, I can see everything.
[3:00]Like I can see my hands from here. I can see my hand from here. I can see my fingers moving. And uh, the only thing is it feels kind of like stiff right now, like it's a little stiff on my forehead. Like I can see my hands from here. I can see my hand from here. I can see my fingers moving. And uh, the only thing is it feels kind of like stiff right now, like it's a little stiff on my forehead.
[3:15]I just needs a little bit of warping to my head, but that'll come with, you know, the break-in period. Yeah, everything feels good. It's very comfortable and biggest thing is I can see and the target isn't huge. So with this one, look at the size difference.
[3:30]So one of the biggest things with a normal face saver is like the, the forehead, it's so big and you're such a big target. So this is like sleek and it's pretty much the same, like roughly the same size as my head compared to this. So I can still see the camera when I'm here.
[3:48]I can see the camera here. It's just right here. I can't see the camera. There's like a tiny blind spot, but if I do that, like it's super tiny. So, yes, um, just wearing it right now, 10 out of 10.
[4:02]Uh, the comfort will come with some break-in period. My hair fits perfectly, which is great. So, I'm going to spar and I'm going to give you guys a review. I'm going to wear it for maybe a couple days and I'll give you a, I'll give you a full-on review right now.
[4:17]Alright, you guys, so I sparred in it and I've had a couple sessions in it. And also, I customized it. I painted some gold on it as well. But my final review, and I'm going to go over a couple things.
[4:34]I'm going to go over my experience, but I'm also going to go over comfort, vision and protection. So, first thing, comfort. The comfort out of 10, I'd say is like a solid nine, nine and a half. Let's say nine and a half.
[4:45]There's the reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because it sits a little lower than I usually like to have my headgear. So, there's like a little indent here that is supposed to match your brow and I usually like my head guard sitting here, but that indent is meant to sit here.
[5:01]So it kind of forces me to have the headgear there. Very minor thing. It's not that big of a deal. So that being said, nine and a half out of 10 for comfort. Um, yeah, the lining's nice. It's like a a good material. Everything's comfortable.
[5:11]Uh, the laces are good. I took out the top laces so I can fit my hair through. So everything felt comfortable. As you guys can see, I have very long hair, so it's kind of hard to find headgears that my hair sits comfortably in, but this was one of them.
[5:25]So nine and a half out of 10. Second is protection. So, while I was, I just did some light sparring, like I had a buddy come over and we did light sparring in the driveway.
[5:33]I wasn't even in the gym. So I haven't really got the chance to use it, use it in like legit sparring, but uh, he jabbed me a couple times and it hit the nose. And usually like face saver headgears like they'll go like this and you got to hit them up after.
[5:43]This slightly, it would just move very slightly. So, the protection was good. Uh, I didn't get hit in the nose. As you guys can see, I have quite a pointy nose like I was talking about earlier, but my nose was protected and it felt great.
[6:00]Um, comfort and protection, nine and a half out of 10 for comfort. I'd say 10 out of 10 for protection. It does exactly what it's supposed to. It has these little air pockets.
[6:07]It has these air pockets here, which I I don't think you can really feel them, but it's supposed to take some sting away because these are the most, these are the most like delicate parts and these are the most in the cheekbones as well.
[6:18]These are the spots that people are usually getting hit the most. So it protects all those really well. Now the main thing, the main thing for me getting this was vision. I've said 10 times in this video, my nose is pointy. So I like having a face saver, but the problem with most face savers is the size of the bar is hard and you can't really see.
[6:33]Like honestly, your vision's like this. A lot of face savers can't see shit. This didn't even feel like I had a bar when I was sparring. Um, my peripherals were great. I could see down, I could see uppercuts coming. I could see pretty much everything. It felt like I was wearing an open face just like cheek guard, which is awesome.
[6:49]And that's the main reason why I got this Hit N Move headgear. So 10 out of 10 for vision. I mean, let's say nine and a half, it wasn't perfect. Like obviously if I had an open face sting headgear, it would, that's a 10. Let's say vision, nine and a half out of 10.
[7:02]As perfect as you can get while using a face saver. So, honestly, this is the best headguard I've ever used. Headgear. I've used, uh, cheek ones, I've used open face, I've used face savers and this by far was the best. It's made out of genuine leather as well.
[7:16]Um, it hasn't attracted any stink yet, even though I haven't used it too much, but just by the material, it doesn't seem like it's going to. And for the price you pay, this is definitely worth it. I know that the price can be a little steep, but this is great.
[7:27]Uh, ties up in the back nice and easy, ties up on the top. You can take the top laces out, a little Velcro, not Velcro, sorry, a little, it just does this on the bottom. So it stays on your face and guys, legit, legit, perfect headgear. It doesn't get much better than this.
