Would this ever be something that you ever considered doing one day, host? Could be. Yeah, I could create my own show. Who knows? Who knows? Well, you've been doing you've been doing more more acting. Uh, they just released. I saw this there was a trailer for Happy Gilmore sequel with Adam Sandler. And look look who's in it, right next to Adam Sandler. That's you, buddy. That's me. And the Sandman! That's me. That's you and Adam Sandler, Happy Gilmore 2. How did this come about and what do you do you are you friends with Sandler? How'd you? Well, now I'm I'm I'm he's my friend. He's a I I I said that he's my uncle. Now he's my uncle, Tío Tío Sandler. Yeah. No, but this this has been so crazy. It was one of the best experiences ever. He's very nice and very funny. Oh, I love his whole hole. But I've seen you do I've seen you act. I've seen you do drama. We've talked about that on the show before, but this is you doing comedy and I think that's a good fit for you. Yeah, because it's what I like. I I like to watch comedy and anime movies. That's Eso es lo que me gusta ver a mí, como que cositas felices. So, I'm excited because it would be my first comedy. I think that we did a great job. I I I hope people like it when cuando la vean que le guste. Yes. Yes, it was.
[2:35]Congratulations on that. Uh, this last few months have been really big for you. You finished a huge tour last summer. Uh, you got another Grammy nomination, and now you release you released your sixth studio album. Okay, yeah.
[2:48]It's called De Bí Tirar Más Fotos. De Bí Tirar Más Fotos. Uh, what it what it it means I I I should have taken more photos? Uh, see, algo así. Yeah. And is it and this is this is one of the photos, did you take this photo?
[3:08]No, I didn't. Eso fue Eric Rojas de Puerto Rico, que tiró esa foto. Eh, but it was what what does it mean? It means like, "De Bí Tirar Más Fotos" I should have take more pictures, but really means that I should um, I should have embraced appreciate more, uh, the moment, the the the present. I should appreciate more the people who is around me, people who love me, and it's all about that, like appreciate more the bless that we are here right now. Yeah, exactly right. Yeah. Yeah. You do so much uh for for Puerto Rico. Yeah. And then Puerto Rico uh uh loves you. But uh you you always uh go back and this is where you came from, this is, you know, what you you want to give back. You you also made a huge announcement uh that you're doing a residency. Now normally when Now normally, when people do When people do a residency, they go to Las Vegas or something, you know. And so but you decided to do yours in Puerto Rico. Uh, yes. What can you tell us? I don't wanna leave. I don't wanna leave. I wanna stay home. I wanna Yeah. It's called the island. And I wanna at the same time it's called yeah. It's called I don't wanna leave. Was there a name for the residency? Yeah, I don't wanna leave. No me quiero ir de aquí. And it's how I feel. I don't I don't wanna leave. I feel very happy and comfortable in my island. And with with with the people that I love close to me. And at the same time, I wanna invite like the the the world to come to Puerto Rico and Definitely go to Puerto Rico. Yeah, have the whole experience. It's the greatest. I'm gonna take you to PR. I'm gonna take you to PR. It's the greatest. Um, we, uh, you know, every time since you've been on the show, we showed this one photo that you you took a picture before. Ah, claro que sí. Before you were, uh, Bad Bunny, uh, with a wax figure of me, uh, at Madame Tussauds, uh, this is in, uh, you look the same. Yeah, right. You look the same. Let me tell you. Yeah, right. I look the same. Yeah, right. Actually, you look younger. Yeah, you look younger. More wax than that. Uh, but then we came out and we recreated that photo here on our show the first time in 2018.

Of course, I have a question for you. Oh, yeah. Um, what is one of your favorite things about Puerto Rico? From the last time that you went, you you you. Uh, I I, oh, gosh, so many great things. Um, I do love it. I love uh, uh, uh, I love the food is Oh, mofongo. Mofongo. Mofongo. Mofongo, which I did not know about. Tell me something about Pasteles. Pastelillos. We have Pasteles so you can try them. Yes. Pastelillos. I had that, but I I will say I say I will say the people. The people of Puerto Rico. Uh-huh. We went when we went to it was after uh Hurricane Maria. And, uh, we went and and everyone was, uh, just so welcoming and open arms and people were hug me and people were crying. And, uh, people's a very special thing about us, about Puerto Ricans. We're very welcoming and we're very happy also. There was so nice and they said they go they thank you for being here, and they a lot some people say, why are you here? You're not you're not Puerto Rican and I go, I know, I know.
