[0:00]An ex-Muslim account made a reaction to my video where I say that hijab is called oppression, no one talks about oppressive beauty standards. Response focusing on how stupid and brainwashed I am, my braces, because that's somehow on the same level as life risking surgeries. Of course, Afghanistan. But I realized something thanks to this video. Suffering of women in Afghanistan is only brought to the conversation to not actually help those women, but to silence Muslim women. They don't actually care about those women in Afghanistan. It's actually very convenient for them that something like this is happening in the world. Because every time a Muslim woman speaks about her freedom to cover, they use suffering of those women against her. So don't believe these Islamophobes are fighting against oppression. They benefit from it. They love that it exists, because it gives them weapon against every woman who freely choose to cover.
