There’s Nothing Scary About Death

[0:00]We're Christians, death is no longer, it's a doorway. It's no longer the end. There's nothing scary about death. You got to put that behind you. You've got to run from the society that tells you that death is scary. There's nothing scary about death. The death of the Saints is precious in the eyes of the Lord. Death is our quintessential moment of life. It's the moment where it shows forth what what kind of life we led. We look forward to the death of the body because we're going to enter into the kingdom of God. We're going to be with Christ forever. That's how the martyrs faced death. Read the Saints who were martyred and take courage. I don't think any child should be taught to fear it. You're creating a whole psychological problem that doesn't exist for the Christian. So we need to be brave and approach death as being overcome, put aside. We need to go to funerals, look at the bodies in the coffins, go to the graveyard, look at them buried. We need to be mindful of death. We need to remember death, just the opposite of what society does. There's nothing to be afraid of. That's the whole message of the gospel, Christ is risen.
