Sometimes when we are waiting for God to do something, it feels so hard that the temptation to step outside of God's will and God's way to get it done. The temptation to get us a Hagar since Sarah can't have a baby. The temptation for us to reach for a bottle because we're sick and tired of waiting for breakthrough. The temptation to step outside of who you are to get what you want and you need so badly. It can be so great, but the only thing harder than waiting on God is wishing that you had. And waking up to decisions that you made because you didn't wait.
