[0:00]Here's how I keep moving forward in difficult times. When I feel scared, I double down on my plans and do my best to stay focused on my own vision and the work I'm doing in the world, even if it feels insignificant and small. I start with a big plan for 90 days at a time, setting up to three major goals and then breaking them down into projects I think are the most likely ones to help me achieve those goals. I evaluate my time and energy and use that to decide which of those projects I'm going I can sustainably make progress on or complete this quarter. Then I break each project into bite-sized tasks. Each week, I choose the tasks that feel doable. I make a plan and I do my best. I don't get angry with myself if I can't do it. I just focus on the work I love and trying to be the best version of myself I can be in this moment. The world needs art and joy and voices like yours.
