The single important thing that I want to share with you today is about one of the controversial topics which is, is wearing the uniform to school better than dressing casually? Well, it may be true that wearing casual clothes at school became one of the ways to express ourselves and seems flexible. But in my opinion, it is a good idea for schools to require students to wear the uniform. Why? Here are the reasons. First, it can reduce the differences between students. Starting from the YouTube channel, namely that's why TV, they say wearing uniform at school can reach us differences between students. For example, rich students can buy expensive clothes, maybe from luxurious brands. But we have to see the real life that some families cannot afford expensive clothes. Therefore, if everyone has to wear the same thing, there are no students who look richer or poorer because of they all are the same. Second, wearing the uniform can reduce bullying at school. Still related to the first reason because students wear the same thing, they cannot judge others because of the clothes. I have a friend from abroad and we have talked about education. She was impressed with Indonesia's regulation where almost all students and all schools wear the uniform. She said, wow, it is a good thing if you can wear the uniform to school, so there is no one who can judge others based on what they wear. I'm sure we are all aware that bullying is not a good thing because it can ruin our mental health. Therefore, wearing the uniform to school can be one of the ways to reach us bullying. And the last reason, students can be more focused on their education. There is a woman who tells her experience in Kuara.com. She said that her school had implemented wearing casual clothes just only on Fridays. But it turns out that the regulation did not last long because many parents protested that their children asked to buy new clothes every week. Imagine, it's kind of a huge destruction because students are obsessed with clothes and always thinking about what clothes that they are going to wear instead of paying attention to their education. Well, based on the explanation, I can conclude that it is a good thing to wear the uniform at school because it can reduce differences between students, reduces bullying, and makes students more focused on education.
