[0:17]That was a terrible answer, but there is something you can say when answering that difficult question that is virtually guaranteed to get you the job. Here it is.

[0:32]I want this job for two reasons. First, I am very passionate about this role and industry. This job will give me a sense of purpose and job satisfaction.
[0:43]The second reason I want this job is because it is with your company. My research tells me you are innovative, forward thinking and you have a great set of company values.
[0:55]That was a fantastic answer. Here's the second question that the majority of people fail their interviews on. Whatever you do, don't give this answer.
[1:06]Why should we hire you? Well, I think you should hire me because I'm the best person for this job.
[1:12]That was a terrible response. Here's exactly what you can say to get hired.
[1:20]Tell me, why should we hire you? You should hire me for three reasons. First, I am a perfect fit for the job description, meaning I can come into the role and have an immediate impact. Second, I am commercially aware.
[1:34]I understand that I have a responsibility to give you a great return on my salary. And finally, you should hire me because I am a proactive problem solver.
[1:47]I always take ownership of problems to achieve a successful outcome instead of leaving them for others to deal with.
