THE SAHABA’S PREPARATION FOR RAMADHAN | SHAYKH SAQIB IQBAL

[0:00]So, in the month of Ramadan, we train ourselves for the 11 months, and then for the 11 months, we work and prepare ourselves for the month of Ramadan. And this was one of the practices of the companions of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, according to one Hadith. The Sahabah, alayhim ridwan, they would spend six months preparing for the month of Ramadan. Six months preparing for the month of Ramadan. And the moment the month of Ramadan would begin, from the month of Ramadan, for the coming six months, they would make duas for the acceptance of Ramadan. So all year was preparation for Ramadan. So their entire life was all about Ramadan al-Mubarak. So six months preparing for Ramadan. O Allah, bless us with Ramadan. O Allah, may we live till Ramadan. May we be blessed with the blessed month of Ramadan. And then from the month of Ramadan, for the coming six months, that would be spent with duas. They would make duas, 'Oh Allah, accept our Ramadan.' O Allah, accept our Ramadan. So their life was all about Ramadan al-Mubarak.
