[0:01]Today we are dispersing a total of 129.5 million shillings for bus in Kirinyaga this year.
[0:16]This money will benefit 48,000 students across Kirinyaga. Of these beneficiaries, 37,000 are from secondary schools, 5,565 are from colleges, 5,433 are from various universities, reflecting our inclusive approach to supporting learners of education. Through the country county program to date, we have dispersed 670.2 million shillings. We started with 49 million in uh 2017, 2018 and has consistently been growing the amount of money. And uh today you have had that we have dispersed 129.5. Our beneficiaries, many of who are here today are selected by committees across the various words and we try as much as possible to ensure that uh we apply fairness and give the children that are really in need. In addition to that, as you have heard, there is a special scholarship program that are used to support needy and gifted children. And uh in that program so far, we have had 139 students. Right now we have 139 students in this financial year on special scholarships, whereas 85 are one of
[2:22]who have special needs and especially gifted um children who are A students and B plus students who are in dire need because either they are orphaned or their parents have died and out of those we have taken uh every year we have about 139 and just this year we have had 27 of them graduate from university students.
