[0:00]Hello, everyone. My name is Matt Mckin. I'm one of the customer success managers here at Apollo.io. Today, I'm going to be walking you through how to assign your tasks within Apollo.io, as well as making sure that your team is notified of those tasks once they have been created. So, just to give you some context of where tasks can be used, tasks are a great tool for one-off and specific actions, whether it be a task for yourself to make sure that you're organizing your work and making sure that you're completing specific actions in order, as well as assigning specific tasks for other team members to make sure that you're collaborating and using Apollo as a team. So, to start off, we're going to begin with the most common and simple way to assign a task within Apollo, and that would be through the contacts or accounts page. We're going to use the contacts page in this instance, but you can use either for your own purposes. So, once you're on this page, you can see all of your contacts here. You can select specific contacts and then assign a task to them, whether it be just one or multiple in this instance, we're going to do one. Once you have selected your contacts, go to this drop-down right here and then click create tasks. Once you do that, this module right here will pop up, which will give you all the information you need to create a task. So, you can add a title in this instance. We're just going to add followup and then add a specific due date. We're going to add tomorrow. Then, you can also add a specific note. We're just going to add, make sure to give our contact a call tomorrow. Then, you can choose what type of task this is, whether it be a general task, a call, email, or a LinkedIn task. Then, you can choose the specific status, whether it be to do in progress or complete, or you can even customize your own statuses. Then, you can go into task priority, whether it be normal, high, or urgent. We're going to put high in this instance, then you can assign it to a specific sequence. This is a task that will be done outside of a sequence, so we're not going to add a sequence to it. Then, you can select who you want to assign this task to. In this instance, we're going to assign it to myself, but you can assign it to any team member that you would like. Then, you can choose to be notified when this task is completed, which we highly recommend. Then, once you have created the task, you can see the task has been created. Then, to make sure that the assigned team member receives the notification for this task, you would go into the settings right here, go into notifications, and then go down to other alerts, then scroll down to task assign to me, make sure that email is checked, as well as in-app notifications are checked. Once you have done that, once a task has been assigned to a specific team member, they will receive an in-app notification, as well as an email notifying them that a task has been assigned to them. So, that is the most common way to assign a task within Apollo.io. Now we're going to show you how to assign a task within a sequence. To do this, go into engage right here, then go into sequences, then select a specific sequence you would like to edit. We're just going to choose this one right here. Once you have done that, you can see all the steps within the sequence. You can choose to add a new step right here, whether it be a manual email, a call, a LinkedIn step, or other tasks. In this instance, we're going to click other tasks, and then once you have clicked other tasks, you can add a new task right here. So, just like before, you can add a specific title. You can add a specific note in here. You can also assign it to specific team members. We're going to keep it assigned to myself and then add a due date for this specific task. We're going to make this due in two days. Then, once you are done, you can click add. And just like that, you have added a task within a sequence. Once you're done, make sure to click publish. And then once a contact enters this sequence and gets to this step, a task will be created and assigned to a specific team member. And that is how you assign tasks within Apollo.io, as well as making sure that your team is notified of those tasks once they have been created. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to your customer success manager or a support team, and we'll be happy to help. Thank you.
