[0:05]We welcome you to our skit where we introduce two trees into humans. The trees are worried about their future and are unsure about their survival, whereas the two humans take their duties towards the environment for granted. Witness the tables turning in this kit as circumstances lead to the trees and the humans exchanging roles and experiencing the other side. Scene one. There are two trees at the side of the road and two students are strolling along. One of them is eating a packet of chips and another is drinking a can of soda. Man, do you remember yesterday's class? Too funny, bro. Dude, I know, right? I mean, what can I say? Just Bunty being Bunty. Too. Hold up, bro. Check out this new video. My mom forwarded it on the WhatsApp group.
[1:17]man, who cares? Just pass that chips. No big deal, bro. There's not much we can do about it anyways. Come, let's go. We're getting late for Prana's party. Actually, yeah, I think our cab is here. Dude, come fast. They both throw the garbage in the trees around, sit on a vehicle and go to Pranat's party. These humans, I tell you. I lived the first 30 years of my life in peace. But the past 20 years have been extremely chaotic. I am under constant threat of whether I will live until tomorrow or not, because these humans cut trees everywhere. What has this world become? But Grandpa, why? Do they not understand how good we are for them? Like we give oxygen, we bring rain, and we even add scenic beauty. Yes, they know, but they still ignore all of it and take us for granted. Only if they knew the true value of our existence. If I would just get two hours as a human, I would make them realize how badly they treat us. Meanwhile, the two humans were dancing and enjoying at the party.
[2:43]Why can't I move? What what's happening? Uh, dude, my arms are stiff and my legs aren't moving. My neck has frozen too. Listen to this nature's call. You two have been chosen to be the voice and listen. You want are going to be trees for the next two hours. Huh? The young and the old tree start moving their hands and feet and get excited.
[3:22]G grandpa, look, look. I can move. Ha ha ha. Yes, I'm surprised too. Even I can move a bit. But these human back aches are quite painful. This is awesome. But wait, why do you think this happened to us? Remember, you made a wish. You said you wanted to be a human for two hours to teach those other humans a lesson. Oh wow. I can't believe it actually happened. Whoa, look at this cool can. Let me try it. What could it possibly be? Oh, this is gross. This tastes like that disgusting fluid which that human threw on me the other day. Oh, that? Yeah, don't drink that. These humans throw things anywhere and everywhere. All we ask for some water, but they throw plastic, paper, waste, and cans on us. Anyways, this opportunity of two hours is a gift for us. We represent the whole tree community for these two hours. We must make the humans realize how wrong they have been to us. An electric vehicle crosses by. Both cover their faces and noses, but there is no smoke emitted. They realize that it's an electric vehicle. What? What is this new vehicle? It had no suffocating smell. I actually kind of like it. Yeah, they're quite cool. They are electric vehicles, son. They are good for the environment. But hey, what's that?
[4:58]Oh human, what is this? My कचरा डब्बा इनमें कचरा डालता गार्बेज.
[5:07]Wow, that's nice. Grandpa, maybe now they won't throw things at us anymore. Maybe these humans are trying to make things better. A human walks by, throws the cover on the tree and goes away on his scooter.
[5:28]Oh god, these people are so confusing. They have the option to help us, but they choose not to. Some of them actually help, but most don't. Grandpa, let's just go and figure this out with them. Wood cutters enter the scene and try to chop the humans who have turned into trees.
[5:59]Ouch, bro, that hurts. Someone tell him to stop. Bro, I know everyone wonders how they were going to die, but I never thought I would turn into a tree and get chopped off. Bro, I'll give him some extra oxygen. I'll give him my fruits also. Someone tell him to stop. Bro, I'll sue you. Somebody, help, help. Oh gosh, these trees are voiceless. No one can hear us. We are helpless. The two trees that turn into humans enter and look at this, run towards the wood cutters. You cannot cut this tree.
[6:33]Hey human, what are you doing? Don't you want to provide a good life for your future generations? The roots of these trees run so deep, they have been here for years. Trees have nurtured your ancestors. Trees are the essence of your past, present, and your future. Dear human, don't cut this tree. It's for your own good. Yes, we give you oxygen. I mean, not we, not me personally. These trees give you oxygen. They provide shade. They're beautiful. And what else do we give, grandpa? Trees bind the soil together. Trees bring rain and trees are also the reason for the existence of so many wildlife species. Ah, okay, mama. I won't cut it. I've realized my mistake. Now.
[7:21]Grandpa, I'm confused. These humans have thrown a plastic cover here, but over there they have a segregated recycled bin. On the road, we noticed humans riding a vehicle which emit harmful gases, but we also saw a few electric vehicles on the road. We heard some people talking about climate change and showing concern about it. But then we also saw this person trying to cut a tree. I'm so confused, Grandpa. What's happening? Sun, sit in the shade.
[7:54]This is the first time I've sat in 50 years. Bro, what are these two people? First one wood cutter, now these green colored guys. I better be dreaming. Dude, these guys saved our lives. Let's just listen to what they are saying. Well, son, to answer your question, what I have noticed is that humans know the problem. They know about the danger of climate change, global warming and deforestation. But now there are two types of people, those who care and those who don't. Some people worry about their future generations and hence try making a difference. But the others, even though they know the problem, they ignore their duties towards the environment. That's the real problem now. I think our second hour is getting over. Let's go back to our tree positions and tell the tree community what we saw. Enter a small kid. He picks up a packet and throws it in the bin.
[8:54]Oh wait, look at this young boy. He really does care about the environment. Maybe humans aren't that bad after all. Oh, wow. Maybe there is hope for us after all. It's never to make change late, right, grandpa? Bro, did you hear them? Those guys were trees. Yeah, that was pretty weird. But you get my point, right? It's because of these people that we had to stand like trees for so long. What do they think of themselves? Just few more minutes, I'll become human again. I'll call my gang and teach those trees a lesson. Teach those trees a lesson, it seems. But bro, why are you trying to take revenge? These two hours have taught us so much. They saved our lives. Plus, I mean, they weren't wrong about today's problem in the world. We all know about the devastating effects of deforestation, global warming, and climate change. But we don't act upon it. We just read such news, maybe feel bad for a moment, and then just forget about it. Yeah, you know what? You're right. We did learn a lot from them. They transform into humans and start moving again. Woah, we're humans again. Oh, bro, these two hours were an experience of a lifetime. It's inspired me. I finally understand what we need to do. Same here. They become famous personalities and environmentalists. At age 19, they start their own venture that inspires people to do their bit in contribution to the nature. Their motto is awareness along with action. This is your 2050. They are 40 years old now and the world is still a safe place to live in. To this day, they are grateful for those two special hours experience. They knew no one would believe their story, but at the same time, it was one of their most fond memories. They will never forget the words of the two trees who changed their lives. Thank you.
