[0:00]The reason why you struggle to hit your own goals is because your own brain is against you. Whenever you say you want to do something, you never end up doing it because you're just not consistent enough, and it's not entirely your fault. So basically what happens is every single time that you set a new goal for yourself, your brain is trying to figure out the quickest way to get out of it. So you tell yourself, okay, I'm going to go to the gym after school. Your brain immediately right after school gives you a bunch of excuses that you don't even recognize. It's it'll literally tell you something like, oh yeah, let's just go and, you know, change out of our clothes, or let's just go to go pick up something, or let's just go eat. And in your mind, you're like, oh yeah, it's completely logical decision.Yeah, let me just go get some eat before if I go to the gym. And then when you go home to get some to eat, then your brain hits you with the, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we just ate, so let our food digest and then we'll go. And then afterwards like, ah, let's just do it 30 more minutes, and then it ends up being just, oh, I missed my gym session. Oh well, let's go tomorrow, and then tomorrow's the same shit. If you really want to set goals, and you really want to be consistent with your body transformation, you have to go when you tell yourself you're going to go. So you say you're going to the gym after school, you have to go to the gym after school. No exceptions, no matter what happens, unless of course like it's an emergency or whatever, but that's so rare, it doesn't even matter. But genuinely, you'd be so surprised to see how much your brain is actually against you. Your brain will fight you and you won't even realize it. So if you want to stay consistent, you have to just do it whenever you say you're going to do it. It'll get easier over time. The first week you might struggle to go to the gym every single day. But then by week number three, you might even start enjoying going to the gym. So don't even worry about like a, oh, is this going to be this hard forever, just go for now and see what happens.
