[0:00]Hi everybody. It's Sonia. Uh, we're back in Seattle and today I'm actually gonna take you guys to the Cheesecake Factory, um, which I'm really excited about. I've actually never been to the Cheesecake Factory, so it is all gonna be new for me, too. But I am going with my roommate, Lola. We're gonna be driving there today, um, and then deciding what we wanna order, looking at the menu. I've heard it's a really big menu. Um, but I'm really excited to see it. And when I told my friends I was going to the Cheesecake Factory, all of them had very like strong opinions about what I should get and what I should look out for. So I'm definitely gonna walk you guys through that, have a conversation with the staff and kind of show you like what it looks like in there and what the like menu and the food items that they offer are. Alright, and then here I am with Lola. She's gonna be driving us there today, so thank you. Yeah, of course. Are you excited to go? Oh, so excited. I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in so long, and their food is like huge. It's gonna be hard to figure out what we want. Okay, but that's part of the challenge. So we're gonna go there. It's a little bit of a drive. It's like 20, 25 minutes, but hopefully it'll be worth it and we'll bring you guys along. Okay, guys, we have officially arrived at the Cheesecake Factory. Um, you can see their iconic sign right there. It's super rainy here in Seattle, so we are gonna try to find parking, hopefully close, and then we will go inside and show you what that looks like. Um, I'm hoping it's not too busy. It's like about 3 pm, so hopefully there are not too many people inside, but we will have to wait and see. Okay, yeah, this is the outside of the Cheesecake Factory. We're gonna head in now. Um, definitely more of a dinner place. So as you can see, super empty outside. Part of that is also because of the time of day, but this is what the inside looks like. We're gonna go to the front desk and see if we can get seated, but it's super pretty in here.
[2:07]Okay, guys, this is where we got seated. As you can see, there's like a bar area over there. Um, this is what our table looks like. And it's super chill in here. There's really not many people around, which is great. Um, we are gonna look through the menu really quick. Our server was super nice. She sat us immediately, but hopefully we can decide on something to get. Wow. And then their cheesecake. Look at the amount of cheesecakes that they have offered. That is insane. Okay, we are gonna decide what we want. Um, I mean, they have like burgers and sandwiches on here. I do love a burger. Um, I'm honestly just like not that hungry. Also, look at the cover of that menu. That's so cute. So colorful. Crispy fried cheese. They just sell fried cheese. Ohh, Thai chili shrimp. Maybe I'll get that. The Thai chili shrimp. It's just crispy shrimp tossed with spicy aioli. Our server also just brought us complimentary bread and butter. They have like a rye bread and then a white bread and a pat of butter. It just like comes with your drinks. We just got water, but um, yeah, I guess we will try that real quick while we are deciding what to order. Tear. These are big slices of bread. They have the two different types.

[3:47]Mmm. The bread's warm, too. That's just like warming up our appetite in preparation. Yeah, yeah. I feel like I want one of these. I know they're just appetizers, but like it's like probably a lot of food, right? Like a decent amount. Yeah. Maybe I will do a lunch pasta. Okay. Oh, I think maybe it was the avocado egg roll that I had last time I came. I can't remember. It was an some sort of appetizer with avocado and it was super good. Really? Yeah. Cause they have um, the cheesecake factory in Hawaii and that was the one that I went to last time. Did they have like different options because it was in Hawaii? Or was it just the same? It was just the same. But it was quite a while ago. So some things might have changed. I think I'm gonna get the, yeah, the spicy rigatoni vodka. Okay. Maybe I'll do something with like a meat dish. If they have. Ohh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, get what you want. A burger. I'm gonna try the white bread that we got. Ooh, listen to the crisp. It's like so crusty. We're ready to order. Yeah. So I'll do the um lunch salmon. I'll do the Cajun salmon. Yeah. Um. And then could I do the lunch pasta? And could I do Evelyn's favorite for that one? This is my first time here and I was like so overwhelmed by all the menu choices. Yeah. Oh, and then could we also do a cheesecake? Oh, right. Do you want me to order now? Or.. Uh, it's up to you. I'll wait after the food. Okay, we just ordered our food. She got the salmon lunch special. I got a pasta lunch special. Um, we'll show you when the food arrives, but after we eat, we'll also get a cheesecake, which main reason we came here. Lola's excited. It's one of my favorite types of dessert for sure. Mm-hmm. I love cheesecake. It's just so heavy, so I don't eat it that often, but I do love it. Yeah, that's so valid. Um, so yeah, but we will show you guys what the food looks like when it arrives. Our waitress was super nice. Um, and then we'll try it for you. And yeah. Okay, guys, our food just arrived. They were not kidding about the portion size. Like this is my hand for comparison. So this plate is huge. And this is the lunch size. So this is like smaller than what they normally ordered, but um I ordered the Evelyn's pasta. I'm not quite sure, but it has zucchini and broccoli and it has like a penne base with sun-dried tomatoes. Um, they put parmesan on it, which looks really good. Um, and then Lola, do you wanna share what you got? Yeah, so I got the Cajun salmon. It's like some sort of um very spice, flavorful salmon rub with mashed potatoes and corn, and I don't know exactly what type of sauce it is, but it looks like some sort of creamy, spicy sauce. Maybe like an aioli or something. Yes. I think it was an aioli. Yeah. Okay, but we're gonna try this and give you guys our review. Everything looks so good. Okay, I'm so excited to try this. [6:58]Mmm. This is hot. Mine is so good. It's very creamy. Like I don't know what kind of sauce they put on it, but feels very rich and buttery and it has like a little bit of lemoniness all over it. Um, Oh, my god, it's so good. Mmm. Wow. The corn goes really well with the salmon and potatoes. There's a lot of flavor.
[7:25]And I really like how the salmon, the outside of the salmon is very crispy. Yeah. Do you wanna try mine? Yeah. You know what, you can try mine as well. Okay. We're gonna do a little plate swap. Can I squeeze a lemon over it? Or.. Oh yeah, go for it. Okay. Also, sorry if it's loud in the background. They just started something at the bar. I don't know what it is, but like maybe they're margaritas. Oh, yeah. It's getting about 5 pm. Yeah, it's getting a little busier. Feel like you can't go wrong with salmon. That's good. Also the flavoring that they did on it, it's like slightly sweet, slightly spicy. Mm-hmm. Very good. I think this would go good with salmon, too. And white wine. A little bit of wine. Who said that? But yeah. Like this dish is like so big. Huge. I know. This one's like bigger than my head. What do you have planned for the rest of the day?

[8:34]Like, I guess, I don't know. Guys, there's this cute guy in her class that she's like kind of been crushing on all quarter, and they finally exchanged each other's Instagrams. And then he like DM'd her and asked if they could study together for their final project, so Miss Girl has a little study date coming up. I'm so excited for the debrief. I really hope it goes well because I have no no idea what to expect, but If on the off chance he sees this video, keep scrolling, buddy. Keep scrolling. You did not see this. They'd walk together and talk for a little bit. And then he finally asked for her like Instagram. Bro finally locked in. For real. I was like, when are you gonna ask me? I'm not gonna do it first. I think class crushes are so fun. It like motivates me to go to class. I can't lie. Oh, it's the only thing that's kept me going to this class. One of our roommates, Emily, too. Her um boyfriend and her, who they've been together for like year and a half, almost two years by now, they met in class and she was totally his class crush. And then they were talking all summer. Um, and then they finally got together like beginning of sophomore year. And they've been together ever since, so class crushes work, folks. For the most part. We don't know anything about him, so. Except for the fact that he's younger. And I don't really like guys that are younger. Yeah, he is like a year and a half younger, which I feel like at our age, that is kind of significant. Um, women mature faster than men, too. So I feel like like when they're younger, it's like they're also mentally younger. So it can it can be very hit or miss. Some some guys are fine, but. Mm-hmm. Some guys are a little bit more mature for their age, but feel like that's not as common. Feel like they usually are they act the way they they act their age. Plus it's hard 'cause like Lola's 21, so she can go to the bars and clubs and stuff. And if she's dating someone who can't, then it's like It makes it the difference even more obvious. Yeah. Like we're right at that age. But yeah, speaking of 21st, my 21st birthday is coming up and we are throwing a rager at our house. I'm actually so excited. We're gonna trash the place. No, just kidding. Oh, my god, hopefully not. No, but I'm really excited and we've been plotting and scheming. Yeah, it's like me and one other roommate. We have birthdays that are two days apart, so we're doing like a joint birthday party. Um, But yeah, we've thrown parties at our place like a few times before. They were very like chill gatherings in a way. They're like parties, like not very filled up. Everybody was chill, it was just kind of casual, like hang out. Like we did one for my birthday and a few other people's birthdays. That one was fun. We did really cute decoration for Lola's birthday. 'cause it's like the first time that we moved into our place, too. So it was like a mo immediately we got decorations up, which was really cool. You're preparing for your study abroad trip. True. I will be going to both Korea and Japan later this year in the in the fall. And so I'll be there for like six weeks in Korea, six weeks in Japan. In Japan, I'll be in Kyoto. And definitely will be exploring all around Japan while I'm there. So if you have any recommendations of where I should go or places I should she see, or food I should eat and try, please send them in. Yeah. Okay, this is how much food we have left. We're both very full. I'm honestly impressed with how much we ate, so go us. Um, but we ordered to-go boxes for the rest of this and then it's starting to pick up in here and get a little noisier. So we ended up getting the Oreo Dream cheesecake just to go. Okay, guys, this is what the check looks like. So the pasta that we got was around $20, the Cajun salmon was $23. And then the Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake, $13. Um, altogether for like two people for a lot, a lot of food, around $60. After tip, it'll be like $70-ish. So not too bad, um, honestly, for the amount of food we got. Alright, and then before we leave, this is what the cheesecake looks like. Very bougie, very fancy. Wow, look at that giant Oreo. Okay, guys, goods are secured. Uh, we are gonna go home. We took the rest of our food to go. Okay, we have made it home. The cheesecake survived. This is what she looks like. Smells like Oreo.
[13:20]I mean, it just tastes like an Oreo. Okay, for the actual cake, here we go. This is our bite. It has like layers. It's like chocolate on the top and then like Oreo on the bottom. Yeah, cheers. That is so good. Oh, my god. Worth it. Wow. I mean, like look at the ratio of like that chocolate at the bottom. It tastes more like a chocolate cake. Mm-hmm. I hope you guys enjoyed coming along with us and seeing what the food looked like, um and that crazy menu. There was so much to see.
