We lost the rhythm, lost the way. But here in this life, we drifted apart like stars in different skies. Too far to reach, too distant to hold. I wonder if in that other life we found a way to stay close. To keep the promises we whispered in the dark. Maybe we laughed a little more, fought a little less. and held on just a little bit tighter. Maybe in that life we were brave enough to fight for each other. Instead of letting go when things got hard. But in this life, we're just memories. Familiar faces with unfamiliar hearts. In that other life, maybe we got it right. Maybe we stayed, maybe we grew. But in this one, we're just echoes of what could have been.
