By the way, in that video I spoke in present tense, whereas in this video, I will show you how to talk about your day in past tense using those scenes as examples. When you talk with someone about your morning, you usually speak in a past tense. Here are some extra chunks you can use right away. Therefore, we consider afternoon activities from 12 to 6 PM. Let's say you met someone at night and you want to talk about what did you do this afternoon. If you prefer not telling too much information, then you can reply with a simple: Estuvo muy bueno. Me la pasé genial. Eh, he tenido mejores. Or you can be more specific by saying what do you do. For example: Fui al cine con mi pareja. Fui a comer a un restaurante italiano. Nos fuimos a pasear por la ciudad. Salimos de road trip. Nos metimos a la piscina. Now, let's put all together in the following example. Hola amor, ¿cómo estuvo tu día? Ay amor, pues ¿por dónde empiezo? Por la mañana me fui temprano para irme al trabajo, entonces no desayuné nada y no hice la cama porque tú seguías dormido. Después, tuve que correr para tomar el autobús porque pasó más temprano de lo habitual. Y, ¿qué pasó? ¿Lo alcanzaste? Sí, logré llegar al trabajo a tiempo.
