[0:03]Salam alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh. So inshallah today we are learning lesson number 20 where we are going to learn about the symbol about the sign which we call shadda. Shadda or tashdeed. So first of all, uh we have to look at the sukoon sign, jazam sign, which we already have learned that if any letter has sukoon sign, the letter before it will attach, will merge into the jazam. So it's a joining, merging sign. So with the tashdeed is the same thing we do, but we read tashdeed letter twice. So first as we join with the sukoon, so in the tashdeed shad letter, the letter before it which has any symbol up or down, fata kasra damma or tanween, will be merged with the shad letter, and the shad letter we read with its second sound itself, like with the any symbol, fatha, kasra, dhamma or double fatha, double kasra, double dhamma. So basically, if any letter has tashdeed, then the that shadda letter, we read twice. So first, letter before it, attach into the shadda letter, and then second time with its own symbol. So let's start. Auzu billahi minash shaitanirrajim Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. So as we see here ba, so the letter before it ro. So they have open here, we can see there are two ba. So ra ba fatha rab, ba fatha ba, rabba. So the same sound here, ra, fatha ba or ra ba fatha rab, ba fatha ba, rabba. Hamza noon kasra in, noon fatha na, inna. So there me we see here and they have break that letter to show us tell us that there are two me. So the first same as we attaching with the sukoon, sa me damma sum and me fatha ma, summa. So it's make the same sound. Ain mim fatha am, mim fatha ma, amma. Sa mim damma sum, mim fatha ma, summa. Mim noon fatha man, noon fatha na, manna. Mim dal fatha mad, dal fatha da, madda. Qaf lam fatha qal, lam fatha la, qalla. Ha jim fatha haj, jim fatha ja, hajja. Hamza noon fatha an, noon fatha na, anna. So as we have practice this line with the spelling, now let's try to read the next lines without spelling. Tabba. Zanna. Sabba. Mimma. Ayyi. Sharri. Salli. Hubban. We see here the shadda now coming with the tanween, tanween meaning double fatha or double damma or double kasra. Hubban. Jamman. Dakkan. Shaqan. Saffan. Haqqun. Hillun. Ummun. Kullun. Rabbun. Ghammin. Gillim. Zillin. Sorry. Zillin. Durrin. So keep practicing this lesson very well until you understand the what is the shadda rule, what is the shadda function, how we attach and read the shadda letter twice. So after that inshallah, uh you can move on lesson 20.
