[0:02]What you are watching right now is the early first playable version of Legion, The Eternal War. A high-budget, medieval fantasy, multiplayer online MMORPG in the game for PC, built in Unreal Engine 5. The game was property of Nexus Division Entertainment, located in Alberta, Canada. I became co-founder and COO of the company. Also, I was the game director of the game. I stepped into the studio a couple of years after its foundation during early concept development, and I scale our fully remote team to 25 distributed multicultural professionals. On the business side, I worked on planning, structuring, and execution of everything financial and operational. I owned profit and loss, due diligence, valuation, investors' meetings and pitching, crowdfunding, operational and financial projections, and all related documentation. That helped me secure $500,000 in funding offers, and we also ran a successful 72-hour crowdfunding campaign within our Discord community. As lead of the project, I was game director of our cross-functional team, leading across narrative, game design, programming, 2D and 3D art, music and sound, graphic design, UI and UX, web development, and cinematics. And let me tell you, at first, I was lead game designer and supported with game writing. Then, I served as senior game producer and senior project manager, scaling to COO and co-founder within a few months after proving my know-how and high value to the founder and CEO of the company. Now, it's important to highlight that the project moved from concept to vertical slice production during my time working for the company. Full production pipeline, full creative and operational ownership, but of course, sharing key decisions with my fellow co-founder and CEO of Nexus. This is part of what I am able to bring to the table. I build and lead teams, provide financial and operational planning and structure, secure funding, and creatively and operationally work the big puzzle to deliver a great game experience through focused game direction.
