[0:01]Hey, what is up, guys? My name's Rizzial and welcome back to another edition of my Modern House tutorial series. Now, today I'll finally be building a slightly larger house with three floors as many of you have been requesting. But in addition to the generous size, the house also features an awesome design with a unique porch and pool area. So without any further ado, let's get right into building it.
[0:24]First up, we'll lay out the foundation of the building, so let's begin by laying out a 12x14 area of stone bricks that is three blocks tall.
[1:13]Then we'll also add a row of jungle planks along the inside of the stone brick foundation.
[1:42]Next replace the grass inside these walls of gray wool for our downstairs flooring.
[2:24]And now we can cover over the center of this with jungle slabs for the main flooring.
[2:53]Next we'll add a staircase up at the front of the foundation, so first replace the top four stone bricks off the front left corner with jungle planks.
[3:04]Then place four rows of jungle slabs that extend out two blocks half a block below these planks and also add another four rows to the right that slope down a block for each row.
[3:24]Now at the left corner extend the stone brick wall out three blocks to the front and also another four blocks to the right.
[3:37]And then we can slope the last four wide section of this wall down with the stairs as I do here.
[3:50]Next we'll build the walls of the second and third floors on top of the foundation. So starting from the back left corner of the jungle wood, let's place an 8x10 area of jungle planks that is six blocks tall.
[4:55]Now once the walls are in, we'll need to clear out a gap in the right side. So come to the back right corner and remove a five long and four tall section of this wall out a block from the corner.
[5:14]Then we'll add the quartz frame and roof around this section, so begin at the fourth block up and wrap a row of quartz blocks around the walls.
[5:41]Next on the left side only, we'll extend a quartz wall up another three blocks on top of the frame.
[6:02]Then from the top of this quartz wall, we'll wrap another frame around the rest of the walls as well.
[6:22]And now we can start filling in the roof, so first add a row of quartz blocks on top of the jungle planks and then fill in the center with quartz slabs.
[6:58]Next we can add in the windows around this section of the house. So at the front and back of the top section, we can clear out a four wide and two tall area at the center of the wall so we can add in black stained glass panes.
[7:26]And then let's add trap doors at the sides of these windows for some shutters.
[7:43]Now for the bottom section, let's start at the front left corner and go over two blocks and replace seven jungle planks at the middle row around the corner with black stained glass panes.
[7:57]Then at the left and back sides of this section, we can also replace four jungle planks at the center of these walls with black stained glass panes.
[11:51]And lastly, we can add in trap doors at the sides of these windows if you want for the shutters.
[12:24]Next we'll add an extension to the house overhanging the right side, so come to the front right corner of the upper section, go over three blocks and build out a four long wall that is three blocks tall. Then at the back right corner, extend the wall out two blocks and then go in a block from the end of this and make another two long wall.
[13:59]Then we'll place jungle slabs along the entire bottom of this overhanging section. Next we can connect these two sections together with jungle planks along the bottom row on the right side and also extend the two corners to the ground. Now to add in the roof, we'll start by covering over the top of the jungle planks with quartz blocks.
[14:53]Now we'll also add a skylight on top of this roof, so place in a 6x4 area of jungle slabs at the middle and replace the quartz between the slabs with black stained glass.
[15:20]Next we'll place in the doors and windows for this part of the house, so begin by adding two doors at the middle of the house here.
[15:30]Then to the right of these doors, we can fill in all the gaps in the walls of this overhanging section with black stained glass panes.
[15:51]And lastly, we can add in trapdoors at the sides of these windows if you want for the shutters.
[16:24]Next we'll edit the stone brick foundation a bit before we go and add in the pool. So first add a stone brick on the corner besides the doors and one at the corner besides the stairs. Also at the front left corner, place in three stone bricks here and then go to the back left corner and place one in as well. And then at the end of this quartz frame at the back corner of the foundation, we can add in the last two stone bricks that we need to place. Now with these in place, we will add upside down stone brick stairs between the stone bricks to make the foundation taller and to serve as a railing for the front porch.
[17:17]Then to finish off the foundation, we can add in some lights along the bottom using sea lantern, so our paths and pool will be lit up later on.
[17:51]Next we'll begin adding in the pool, so starting from the front right corner of the foundation, remove a 6x12 area of the ground that is two blocks deep.
[18:20]Then we can fill in this area of the ground we removed with quartz blocks.
[19:27]And of course, to finish off the pool, we can now fill in with water by using water buckets or ice.
[19:53]Next you will add in the walkway around the pool, so from the end of the stone bricks by the stairs, remove a layer of the grass so it connects up to the back right jungle plank column and fill in with stone bricks.
[20:13]Then between this border of stone bricks at the front of the pool, replace the grass with quartz blocks.
[20:44]And lastly for the exterior, we can add a flower bed on top of the porch if you want by placing dirt at this back corner with trap doors around them and flowers on top.
[21:00]Next we'll head inside to edit the interior.
[21:08]So the first thing we need to do is to fill in this wall at the right side with jungle planks where the stone bricks are and then add in a double door at the center. Then on the back wall we'll add in a staircase, so starting from the third window over, let's add up four rows of jungle stairs and then at the end of it, we can place in the top floor using jungle planks.
[22:01]Then let's head back down and if you want, you can cover over this quartz part of the ceiling here with jungle slabs.
[22:15]Then beside the staircase, let's add two rows of jungle planks up to the ceiling and also add a row of these planks to the top left and behind the stairs as well. Next remove the floor beneath the staircase and place in a curved staircase down to the bottom level as I do here.
[22:51]And lastly at the bottom, we can place in a wall next to the staircase.
[23:02]But with that last wall in place, we won't have to make any more structural changes to the interior. So as always, I love to hear all your feedback and don't forget to drop a like if you enjoyed as that would be much appreciated. And with that said, I hope to see you guys in the next video. Later guys, bye-bye.
