Once your SBI accounts are connected to TallyPrime, you can securely send payments online. To send payments online, you need to be a connected banking user with your SBI accounts connected to Tally Prime. With this secure facility to send payments, you save a great deal of time and smoothen the payment process. First, let's see how to enable online payments for a bank connection. Online payments can be enabled only by the user who initiated the bank connection. Press Alt Z, All banking options, bank connections. If you haven't logged in to connected banking, then you will need to log in. Select the SBI connection. Now press F9 to manage online payments. Let's enable online payments. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number that is linked to your Tally.net ID. Online payments are enabled for all the users using the bank connection. It is important to note that while you enable online payments in Tally Prime, the payment approval process, the settings applied in your bank portal, and bank regulations remain unchanged. Now, let's send payments online using connected banking.

From the e-payments report in banking activities, if you open the send payments report for a specific bank ledger, then the report opens for that bank ledger. Select the transaction and press S to send the payment. The payment is sent and a success message appears. Consider that your SBI account has multiple users and as a maker, you initiated the payment. Then, after entering the OTP, the payment will be submitted to the bank for approval or authorization by the checker on the bank portal. You can track all the payments initiated from Tally Prime in the e-payments report. Press F10 to get the online payment status.
