But that night they said something was watching them. Every night, they marked trees to find their way out. Next morning, every mark was gone. They heard footsteps at night, heavy, slow, circling. But no one was there. They started building traps, collecting berries, hunting to survive. On the 21st night, they found a deer skull, still bleeding, hanging from a tree. By night 67, they stopped talking. Too scared to make a sound. The forest felt alive, like it was listening. Then, on the 99th night, they saw lights, search teams, flashlights, voices.
