[0:01]This image of an uncanny white-faced peering through a slit has become a classic and staple of cursed images. It has been used as the photo for Eer creepy pasta, a Spanish creepy pasta that states a few rules that if followed, causes this creature to appear at your doorway. Although I could not find any definitive origins for this photo, due to how widespread and popular it become, the photo looks like an old generation Furby, looking through the slit. Made uncanny by its unusual angle, the relatively low quality of the camera and low lighting. Although the exact model is still to be determined, a redditor has made this drawing for clarification purposes.
[0:47]This photo of a disfigured ventriloquist and his disfigured dummy has been making its rounds around the internet from as far back as 2010. It has since appeared countless times in top 10 creepy images of ventriloquist dummies, as well as top 10 real life haunted photos. This photo is actually a vintage photo of a man with his ventriloquist dummy that has been digitally altered by artist Aaron Alfrey. The artwork is called Nobody Sleeps with the Creepy Peeps, Art Print.
[1:18]Another uncanny photo is this one of what looks like a mask or mannequin head peering from under a bathroom stall. This photo is actually a screenshot from a 2014 YouTube prank video titled Peeking into bathroom stalls prank, almost got shot by YouTube channel Average Bro TV. The video shows him poking a mannequin head from over or under stalls in public bathrooms. This is the scene from which the photo is taken from. This photo of hooded cloaked figures surrounding a car, hands raised as if to perform an occult ritual, has also been a cult classic in internet history. With some even falsely sharing it as a real historical fact. This picture is actually a scene from the 1997 short Indie film Coven. The movie is about a struggling alcoholic who joins a support group to get rid of his alcoholism, but later discovers that the group is a part of a demonic cult. This photo of what looks like an upside down humanoid figure in a cocoon might not be as popular as the rest of the photos mentioned. Nonetheless, it has been part of many memes and also a classic photo on subreddit cursed images. The figure in the photo is actually a sculpture by artist Derek Walborn, named William, which was mainly made using fiberglass and resin among other materials. This photo of an Asian woman with what looks like ropes or snakes coming out of her mouth and hands has popped up occasionally in various cursed image collections and on thumbnails for YouTube videos. And also served as the earlier photo of Sa Jin in the SCP Wiki. This photo was also shared with the following story. Desiree Snakehands, a street performer from 1930s Manilla, was born and raised in the city where she did most of her busking for other poor urchins, and was noted for being arrested on five separate occasions regarding the sudden disappearances of other children. Never once was enough evidence produced to convict her, but her behavior in the ramshackle wooden courts of law included eye-crossing, vivid and violent mimicry, screaming at intervals, and bouts of juggling was enough to frighten the jury. By 1941, she became ill of typhoid and was found dead on a rooftop in one of the wealthiest parts of town, above the house of a notable theater producer. It was still unknown how her act was performed at this point. This story turned out to be fake, however, with the real story being that this is, in fact, a photo of a Chinese performance artist, Zhu Ming, in 1999.
