[0:00]Hi everyone. Good day. Good day. Good day. We like to try some Aussie with some people next to you. Just look at them and say good day. It's a good day, right? It's a good day. It's a good day because God is with us. Amen. Hallelujah. So, I'm glad to be back and, uh, yeah, miss you guys. Um, and, uh, it's good to be in the house of God. Because this is a place where God can bring amazing changes in our lives. Isn't that right? Amen. Hallelujah. You know, um, how many of you ever regretted following Jesus? Anyone regretted following Jesus? How many of you do not regret following Jesus? No regrets. Sure? Okay. Let's have 30 seconds. Look at someone and share why you have no regrets. Okay? And the time starts now. One, two, three, go. Why do you have no regrets following Jesus? Give one reason. Okay? One reason why? Why? Why is a good question? Why you don't have a regret following Jesus? Hallelujah. No regrets. We have decided to follow Jesus. Great. Great him, right? I have decided to follow Jesus. I have decided to follow Jesus. I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back. It's so amazing, right? Following Jesus. I do not regret following Jesus. Would there be difficult times? Yes. Would there be challenging times? Yes. But it's through the difficult times when we follow Jesus. Through the valley of the shadow of death, you find that his rod and his staff give you comfort. Amen. Amen, brothers and sisters. So you know, in everything we go through, following Jesus is non-negotiable. It it has to become part of our lives because then you will find that, hey, actually following Jesus is the best decision I can ever do in my life. Seriously, when we follow Jesus, everything is different. You know, and following Jesus, Jesus said in Matthew 4, Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of people, of men. I will make you fishers of men. And I want to talk about something that's very important because one key aspect of becoming a fisher of men is not only to follow Jesus, to to know his teaching, to obey his teaching, build our house on the rock, not on the sand. But there is this area of Holy Spirit empowerment. We need the power of the Holy Spirit if we want to serve Jesus the way Jesus wants us to serve. So let's go on. I want to go on to, uh, talk about disciples who are empowered by the spirit.

[3:26]You and I, have you come into contact with the Holy Spirit? Have you allowed the Holy Spirit to come into you? Not in a way that you don't know, but in a way that you know the Holy Spirit is actually living with me, you know. And, and that in our life, when we go through every situation, we have the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We have the help of the Holy Spirit. Would you believe that the Holy Spirit can help you as you study for exams? He will not give you the exam answers, but he may give you encouragement and you can trust the Lord. You may feel the Holy Spirit is saying, read this passage. Study this question more. You know, it can happen like that. In your profession, in your workplace, when you are caught in a tight spot, you do not know what decision to make. Your client is sitting in front of you. Of course, you cannot pray out loud. Oh, God, help me. But you can pray in your heart. Amen. Can you pray in your heart? Yes or no? Can you talk to God? While you are looking very cool and professional, but in your heart, Lord, I need your help. Can we do that? Should we do that? Please look at some and say, do that more and more. Do that more and more. Because Holy Spirit wants to partner with you and me. It is time to let go of all so difficult to serve God. All so difficult in my everyday life. All so difficult. It's so difficult when you try to walk this journey by yourself. But when you follow Jesus, the goodness of Holy Spirit is really there for you. And he can help you not only make it through, but you'll make through, make it through better than by yourself. And he can help you even enjoy the trip. Yes, it is tough. It's stretching, but you're going to enjoy it because you see the fruits of the labor when you partner with the Holy Spirit. And he is not just available to pastors, especially to senior pastors. It's not only available to It's a joke. You're look so serious. Okay? He's available to all of us in Christ. Amen. So, you know, uh, I've been reflecting even on, uh, my own journey. My own journey with the Holy Spirit. And I'm just going to bring up the Acts Chapter 1:4-8. Acts 1:4-8.

[6:10]It's a, is a very important, um, passage of scripture for all of us. Because it it shows us, um, what it is all about. Okay? And so it says, one on one occasion, when Jesus after his resurrection, you know, the Lord appeared to his disciples. He did not appear to everyone in Jerusalem. He appeared to those who believed in him. And he had a meal. He ate with his disciples. There were 11 disciples there. Number 12, Judas have gone to hang himself. End of the story. Very sad, tragic part. But the 11 were there eating with Jesus. And you know, Jesus knew that his time is coming to go back to heaven.

[7:04]So every meal matters. Every every minute of time he had with his disciples, he cherished it so much. And that's the way he want to cherish having time with you and me. And while he was eating, he just looked at the disciples. 11 of them. He knew he's going to leave them behind. He's he has done his part. Now, he's going to let his disciples who believed in him, take his vision to the next level. And so Jesus told them, Don't leave Jerusalem. Okay? This is not the time for you to go around here and there to preach the gospel yet. There's one thing you need. Don't leave Jerusalem. Wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. Wait, wait for the gift. You know, sometimes we are so eager to serve God, and that's a great thing. But when you are eager to serve God in your own strength, you're going to get burned out. You're going to get tired out. You're going to get frustrated with people, just like Martha got upset with the sister Mary. You know, that is not the way to serve. We only have one life to live, and God gives us a better way. That when we serve, we serve in a different dimension. So wait for the gift my Father promised. And we've got to believe that when the good Father promised anything, he will fulfill it. Isn't that right? Amen. When he says that when Jesus said, in my Father's house, there are many rooms, many rooms, and I've gone ahead to prepare them for you. We can believe that that promise will be fulfilled. And you know, for those who who might not be aware, we want to offer our love, prayers and condolences to Pastor Lawrence and also to sister Serena on the recent passing of, uh, his father-in-law, her own father. But I have good news because I had the privilege to meet uncle with Pastor Lawrence, uh, a few weeks ago. And we had a good chat, and he was sharing how he, he saw in a time of, uh, he had a vision of Jesus coming to him, and he knew it was the Lord. It was incredible short time of intimate conversation, deep conversation, men to men. By the way, a lot of men here, we need to have deep conversation about Jesus, one to one or in a small group so that we can rise up to be strong men for Jesus. Amen. So I knew that Uncle Charles is in a good place. His heart knows the Lord Jesus. He is not afraid to go. He was in great suffering, but you know, there is a peace that is within him. And it shows on his face as well. So, while we in the human sense, we we have sadness and grieving, and that's part of life. And it's okay to grieve as God's people, but there is also that sense of rejoicing because we know he is in a better place. Now, coming back to this passage, this is precisely why we need the power of the Holy Spirit. So that when we preach the gospel, when we witness for Jesus, people are not just impacted by your nice personality. Thank God you have nice personality. Thank God you you are very helpful. You you care for people. Thank God for that. But winning souls is a work that is in the spiritual dimension. And that's why we need the Holy Spirit. So Jesus says, wait, wait, wait for the Holy Spirit. All right? And then he said, for John baptized with water, but in a few days, you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Water. That's very Aussie. Sorry. I have to shake off my Australian accent now. In Australia, they say water, water. Try it together. Water. Water, yeah. Can I have some water, please? Uh, and then, uh, Monica talked about generation beta. He's getting better, better. Better and better. Okay. Never mind. Come back to the word. A bit of joke. Okay. Let's read the, let's read verse 6. Okay. Then they gathered around him and asked him, Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel? They are still thinking about a national Israel, a geographical Israel, a political Israel. But Jesus has something more. And Jesus actually is not interested in the political Israel. He's talking about the greater kingdom of God, which covers the entire world, the entire globe. Let's go on to the next slide, please. Let's read together. He said to them, It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. You know, right now with everything that's going on in the world, the the the war in the Middle East. Uh, we have people there. Some have come back to Malaysia. Some are still stuck there. But you know what? Uh, people are talking. If you go on the internet, there's all kinds of speculation about different things. And if you get sucked into all those, uh, algorithm that feed you information about the war and so on, you get super stressed. And maybe one of thought is, Jesus, are you coming back soon? Jesus, are you coming back soon? And some of the young people here, you're asking, Jesus, will I ever get married before you come back soon? There are lots of questions. Lots of questions. It can perplex us. It can scare us. It can cause us to to focus on the wrong thing. And Jesus redirected the their their focus, redirected the the question. You see, you've got to ask the right question in life. You ask the wrong question, you are barking up the wrong tree. You ask the right question, you'll get the better answer. But even Jesus is so gracious. He knew that they are asking the wrong question, but he graciously redirect to talk about something that is more important beyond the obvious. Beyond what you see with the human eyes. And so Jesus said, it is not for you. Let's read together. It's not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. You see, this, this is what Jesus want us to focus on. Don't speculate on the war in the Middle East. Don't don't be caught up with all the huruhara. All the troubles and so on. Focus on what Jesus is saying here. Jesus wants us to be his witnesses. Wherever we are, wherever we go. I just came back from, uh, Australia from Hope Melbourne Camp, and also Hope Hobart leadership, uh, retreat. I see the Holy Spirit move. Honestly. Uh, and you can learn how to be a witness for Jesus wherever you go. To believers and to those who don't know Jesus as well. So, you know, I want to just, if you want to have, if you are writing down something, can you write down Acts chapter 10? Acts chapter 10. Okay, it's not on the screen. Acts chapter 10:38. Acts 10:38. Because this is a description of Jesus himself. I talk about Jesus first, and then talk about why we need the Holy Spirit. Okay? Acts chapter 10:38 talks about how God anointed Paul, not the physical oil, but the spiritual oil, anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit. You see, Jesus himself needed the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He needed it. If he didn't have the anointing of the Holy Spirit, he could not do what he did. And that is something we've got to reconcile in our understanding of Jesus. Jesus was showing us the model, the pattern. How God anointed Jesus. Thank you very much, Ariel for putting up the Bible verse. I appreciate that. Um, and, and empowered. You see, anointed with the Holy Spirit and power. Holy Spirit and power. And what does Jesus do when he is anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power? He got busy. He got going. The church today is a sleeping church. We are not getting on with we may have been anointed with the Holy. We may be baptized in the Holy Spirit. But we are not getting on with what the purpose of the baptism is. So Jesus, when around, let's say together, Jesus went around.

[16:50]Yeah, imagine right now. He went all over the place. You know, he went here and there, to villages, to bigger cities. And and even one time he was passing by the graveyard, the cemetery, where there was a man, absolutely stark naked. Long hair, unkempt, stinky, smelly, grimy, and he had been put in chains, but every time, he broke the chains like it was nothing. And when he saw Jesus, the something happened. See, the Bible say here, how Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil because God was with him. Amen. Because God was with him. So, Jesus did that. And now, Acts chapter 1 is really about us. And so Jesus, I want to share, uh, what Jesus said so that you and I really get it and desire it. You see, today, right here, right here, everyone and those watching online, you are one of the four kinds of people. But I hope we are not like the three I'm going to describe. There are those here, and I hope it's not you. I hope it's not the person sitting next to you. I hope it's not your wife, not your husband, not your children. There are people who hear the word, and then immediately the devil comes and take it away. Then this Sunday time together is going to be of zero profit for you. You're not going to get anything out of it. So go to pray. Lord, help me. Do not allow the devil rob me of the word in season for me today. Isn't that right? Amen. Then the second time, where the word of God is going to hit you. You're going to feel the joy of the Lord. You're going to receive, whoa, God, this is a great message today. I accept it. I'm so happy about it. But it's like the seed that falls on the rock. It grows, but there's not much soil. And when the sun comes up, when the heat is on, when the and Jesus said, it is the persecution. When the going gets tough because of the name of Jesus, when you are put in a position where it's either your way or Jesus' way, the pressure is too much. You you rather throw away Jesus and follow your own way. That's the second one. Some of you might be number two, but I pray you are not number two. If you think you are number two, good news. You can say, God, switch me. Upgrade me, God. I want to upgrade. I don't want to be number two. Then the third soil, the seed. And there's many people in the church. Many people who are very rich, very blessed in the business, in the profession, doing well. Big homes, big houses, and you know what's coming back next? Uh, big big goldfish. Okay. Big swimming pool. Jesus said, there are many people in my church who hear the word. They receive it. They are growing. They are growing. But they are growing among thorns. What are the thorns? The thorns are the worries of this world. I worry about my children's education. Oh, will he pass the exam? Oh, what to do next? Oh, financially, oh, not enough. Oh, oil is running out. Oh, thank God we are in Sarawak. A bit more oil. Hallelujah. You worry about many things, and you are choked. You're not fruitful for Jesus in church. Not fruitful in the workplace for Jesus. We're hardly doing anything. We're just on on maintenance, life-saving mode. The other part of category three is the pleasures of this world. We are not burdened with people who are lost. We are concerned with oh, next holiday, we shall we go, uh, for food to eat after church service, you know, that kind of thing. Nothing wrong with planning ahead. Nothing wrong with enjoying food. The Bible says if you are rich, Timothy, the book of Timothy, say if you are rich, you know, enjoy the blessing God have given you. But do not put your faith in riches. And by the way, since you're rich, use your riches for the kingdom of God. You can read it in the book of Timothy. Paul wrote to Timothy on that. So, friends, I am in big trouble because I haven't even started. So, number one, number one. About disciples who are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We need to understand it's a command. It's a command. A command means no negotiation. No negotiation. Don't even argue about it. Jesus said, he he gave them this command. You see, he said, wait for the gift. Wait for the gift. Some of us here, you have not received the gift of the Holy Spirit. You know, wait in an active manner, not passively. Like, whoa, God, if you give, you give, Lord, you don't give, never mind, Lord, it's your fault, Lord. No, it's not like that. There's an active waiting. You're going to read it about it because disciples were actively praying, praying for the gift in the upper room. Day after day. After day one, nothing happened. Pray. Go to sleep. Wake up. Pray. Day two, nothing happened. And God has his timing on the day of Pentecost. On God have to precisely his calendar. His timing is always better than our timing. Amen. And on the day of the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon them. They thought it's going to be another day. Uh, wake up. We're going to pray again. God, give us, we're waiting for the gift. We've been waiting, Lord. And then the Holy Spirit came. Wait for the gift the Father promised. And you know, Luke chapter 24. Luke 24. Let's go on to the next slide. Luke 24. Jesus, you see, is it's nothing new. Jesus had been saying it. And, um, can we read this together? He told them, this is what is written, The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day. And repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised, but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high. See, there is this idea of waiting until we receive, until we are clothed with power. When we are clothed, I am wearing a shirt right now. When imagine this shirt is called power. Clothed with power. Clothed with power. You see someone who's not well, you lay hand and pray. It is not you. You are just the vessel. You are just the channel. But because you're clothed with power, the power of God will flow through. It is not just for certain people. It's for every believer. So if you aim God power, please wait for the gift. If you have received the baptism of Holy Spirit, my question is, what are you doing with the gift of the person of the Holy Spirit? You see, next, next slide. See, the the the gift is the person. The gift is the person of the Holy Spirit. It is not like Star Wars. I grew up watching Star Wars. I see Darth Vader. I love his helmet, you know. I love the helmet. It looks so good. And when he breathed, it sounds so, whoa, masculine. Uh, sounds good, eh? I can have a second career. Come to the dark side. And Luke Skywalker finally realized it's his own father, and his hand have been chopped off. No. And he fell down. Never mind.

[25:19]So I grew up thinking that Holy Spirit is a force. I grew up thinking Holy Spirit is a force. No, he is not a force. He is a person. But he is forceful or powerfully. I prefer the word powerfully. Holy Spirit is powerful. So the commission to witness comes with the command to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I wouldn't have dared traveling travel around the world to preach the gospel and to equip the church if I don't have the Holy Spirit. Because it means I have to use my own brain, a lot of reading, a lot of books. I have to come up with something fantastic that people have never heard of. To impress people and hopefully, they will be so impressed that even though the Holy Spirit is not there, it's okay. They got something. I don't want to do that. Neither would you want to do that. We need the Holy Spirit. The person. So he traveled with me and High Aim, as we flew all the way to Australia. He was with us all the time. I'm going to share more stories later if we have time. Either so we got to make a decision. I hope that all of us desire to serve the Lord. Isn't that right? Amen. I hope you are doing something with your gifts, the gifts that God put in you. You're using it, using your gifting. Enjoying your life. However young, however old you are, every day you wake up, you wake up with excitement because there is purpose in your life, and you're you're using your gift. But if you use your gift without the power of God, yes, God will still bless. But how much more when you are empowered by the Holy Spirit? So my my desire for all of us here is that you will really come to a place in your own work with God where you learn to welcome the Holy Spirit to be your senior partner. Even little children, little children do not have junior Holy Spirit. In Melbourne, little children were taught by a visiting pastor, and they were activated in the prophetic.

[27:43]And they were taught to draw pictures. They they did body parts, you know. They have a picture and say, okay, let's ask Holy Spirit right now. Uh, where is the, where is the pain or what is the thing? And the little girls, you know, little boys, they'll draw and circle a certain area, and then on the final day, the the the teacher, the pastor, brought all the drawings in front of all the congregation, and say, okay, uh, this is a picture of this, and this is the condition. Anyone here with that condition? There are some hit and miss. So, some of them is like, okay, it's blank. Nobody here. Maybe it's somewhere else. But there are some where people respond, and they got healed on the spot. Holy Spirit works in whatever age group. Jen, uh, beta, you're beta. Okay. Alpha, Omega, doesn't matter. All right, doesn't matter. You see, I'm very Aussie now. Matter. Doesn't matter. The Holy Spirit is the one. When you have the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the one who will distribute gifts through you. You are the postman, the post lady. Post Laju. You are the one who will deliver the gift to people at different times. So I'm very sure, among us here, there have been times when you counsel people. So you think that you don't have the gift of counseling. But as you counsel, you got something from the Holy Spirit. And and you you just go for it. Ask the question. Are you, are you, are you, uh, blah, blah, blah, you know? And the person said, whoa, how did you know? Actually, you didn't know. It's the Holy Spirit. And the same person, it's not the the gift of counseling. It is a gift of a word of knowledge. Given through you for that person. At another time, it could be something else. So, brothers and sisters, this is for real, okay? It's for real. Um, the gift is a person. Let's go on. Uh, secondly is the baptism, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You see, immerse. To be baptized, the word baptism is is is the word immersion. You use it for water baptism, and you talk about Holy Spirit baptism. Imagine that you are walking around immersed by a, a, is a bad, not the best description, but a blob of of liquid, you know?

[30:46]Like you are surrounded with liquid, immersed. But this is not liquid. We're talking about Holy Spirit. He's a person. That you are so immersed in the Holy Spirit. Okay, your body has become the temple of the Holy Spirit. You refuse to allow impure things enter your eyes, into your mind, into your heart, from what you watch on your phone and so on. And when you do make mistakes, when you do fall, quickly come under the blood of Jesus. Lord, forgive me. God, cleanse my eyes, cleanse my mind, cleanse my heart. God, I do not want that immoral picture to stain my spirit. Lord, help me overcome it, you know? And God is gracious. He help you. So we learn to be always in a state of being immersed in the Holy Spirit. There might be three things that can happen. Tongues is very evident in the book of Acts. Um, and there are two kind of tongues. There's one where in Acts 2, on the day of Pentecost, the people were were all speaking out in all kinds of noise, volume, and the the people in Jerusalem, they came from different parts of the region and the world. They speak different languages. They could hear distinctly in their own language. They were praising God. But there is also a second kind of tongue, which is a heavenly language. Okay, heavenly language. So if you try to record that tongue and trace through AI, okay, don't use AI too much. But AI is good sometime. And and try to look for that language in the world, you cannot find it. So there are some skeptics that say, well, we recorded this language that you you people are blabbing out of your mouth. It is not connected to any language in the world. Therefore, this is fake. No, don't be so quick to judge and say it's fake. There is a heavenly language as well. Tangible. When the Holy Spirit is in you, at times, you can feel his tangible presence. Like electricity. The presence of God. Um, let me go on because I got a video to share. Transformation. Being built up in our faith. Acts chapter 4:31. After they prayed, the whole place was shaken, and the people were filled with the Holy Spirit. And what changed? They became courageous. From being afraid, they became courageous. Friends, there will be times when you and I are depressed, discouraged, negative. When you are down, that is the most important time for you to begin to pray in the spirit. Go for a walk in the garden, pray in the spirit. Pray softly, just in case people who walk the dog, they all get shocked, you know, what you're doing. All right, but do it. Pray in the spirit. When you drive to work, pray in the spirit. Pray in the spirit loudly, softly, in your heart. Pray in the spirit. See, friends, keep yourself in the Holy Spirit at all times. Let's talk about the witness. Oh, okay. Next, next for all. It's a photo. Let's go on the photo. See, I'm so Aussie. Photo, photo. No, not photo. Okay, let's take some photo. No, not photo. photo, photo. Okay. Become Frodo pula. Okay. Hope Melbourne, uh, I I love the young people there. I love the young people here, too. Don't get me wrong. But the young people there, you know, these are like the the the generation that grew up in the church, most of them. And and they know God, uh, and and they are so enthusiastic for God, enthusiastic for God. Um, I I they are so polite, you know, they open door for me, and when when people want to go into a room, they open the door, you know? And sometimes I open the door for them. And then they look back and smile and say, thank you very much. I have not been appreciated like this in Kuching. By the youth.

[35:00]Thank you very much. It's not just one. All of them are very polite. But guys, I'm not knocking you. I love you, guys. Let us upgrade our social etiquette. Learn to be polite. Learn to say thank you. When your mom and dad cook dinner tonight, please thank them. Say, Mom, this is the best sausage I ever ate in the world. No, don't don't, don't, uh, exaggerate. Yeah. Just speak from your heart because your parents can discern your spirit. Ah, Joe K. K. one. So you don't want to be fake also. Okay. So be real, be honest. Mom, thank you for cooking. I know it. You are tired, but thank you, Mom. Wow. That's a witness for Jesus as well. Let's talk about number three, the witness for Jesus. The witness for Jesus. You see, Jesus said, you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses. My witnesses. Hallelujah. Now, let's go on. Let's I want to share about how Peter experienced it. Peter, okay? Peter, Peter experienced it. See, Peter experienced the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And I want to make the case here. All of us, you can experience the guidance of the Holy Spirit as well. You ought to. You need to. It's your right. It's your privilege to experience the leading of the Holy Spirit. Peter had a vision. He didn't know how to make sense of the vision. The vision actually repulsed him. Eat unclean food. No, God. But the Holy Spirit said to him, the person. The counselor, he said, Simon. While he was thinking, you know, he didn't know what's going on. But the Holy Spirit said, Simon, do you know there are three people coming to look for you? Actually, they are downstairs now at the door. Go and meet them. Don't hesitate. Go with them. I've experienced this many, many times. Many times in my life. God said something. And then later on, as I obey, I see exactly the kind of scenario happening. And so Acts 11, the spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. There is a place. So you're going to ask, you're going to interrogate and grill Peter. Peter, how do you know the it's the Holy Spirit? Tell me. Or I twist your arm. You can come and learn. We have prophetic equipping sessions as well. Come for prayer meeting. Learn in an environment where there there is an open heaven. An environment where people are soft before God, calling out to God. That's the best place to learn. So, during, uh, my time in Hobart, we had a leadership, uh, training. And that afternoon, I thought because time is running short, I better keep my mouth shut. Because I felt the Holy Spirit said, Dennis, it's time to pray for these two brothers, Dave and Dom. All right? David and Dominic. But I kept quiet because I said, oh, I, I think I don't want to run over time. But that time, I don't want to run over time. So I kept quiet. But then later on, another sister sitting there, her name is Helen. Beloved sister. She said, Guys, I think we need to pray for Dave and Dom. I was shocked. I said, okay, guys, okay. Forget about the planning. Time may run over time, but we need to do what God is saying. Let's do the God thing, not just the the good thing. Amen. So we prayed, and God brought something beautiful for these two brothers. Holy Spirit's guidance, so crucial. Not just for church matters, but for family. When you are at a crossroad, what to do about your children's future, Holy Spirit is there. Work decisions, investment decisions, blah, blah, blah. Guidance. Next. Peter, Peter, uh, he, he witnessed for Jesus. When he went to Cornelius's place. This is about Cornelius, the Centurion. He went there, and and so he shared the message about Jesus Christ. You see, it's about witnessing. He witnessed for Jesus. And he was talking about how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil because God was with him. Jesus is the son of God, but yet the Bible said, God was with him. What does it mean? He's the son of God, but God was with him in the sense that the Holy Spirit is is the clothing. Jesus was clothed with power. And that's what you and I need. I love to see this church become a church that move in the supernatural. Where miracles happen. Where things really that confound common sense that go beyond medical, medical, uh, limits. Next. Next. Yeah. The message about Jesus. We are witnesses. We are witnesses. Now, the thing is, while while Peter was sharing the message, the Holy Spirit came. Next. Next. Yeah. Peter's witness of the Holy Spirit's baptism. You know, while Peter was still speaking. He was still preaching. He was still telling the people about Jesus. The Holy Spirit came. No, no, no, uh, no advanced warning. Just like someone asked Donald Trump, you know, about the about the attack and so on, the war that started. No advanced warning.

[41:00]I don't like the things happening in the world, but I love it when Holy Spirit comes when we don't expect him. When we don't even know what's going on. Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit. You see, and Peter, you see, actually Peter talked a lot, you know? He talked a lot. Just like me. Talk a lot already.

[41:29]Just like me. Very bad. Hallelujah. Amen. I'm going to encourage us today. We need the Holy Spirit baptism. Some of you have questions. You have said, I've been prayed for. I've been asking God for a long time. How come I'm not receiving? Well, let's sit down and talk. Maybe you have. Maybe it is is expressed in a different way. Because, uh, so we talk because there might be, uh, some things different. Okay? Some of us, we are not received because we are afraid. We are afraid that when we are prayed for, for the Holy Spirit, we are afraid we'll get an evil spirit. So we are so afraid nothing happened. It happens like that. All kind of issues. So talk to us. Talk to me. Talk to Nicola, you know, talk to Valerie, uh, talk to Uncle Bernard, different ones. Okay? Right. Let me share with you what happens when we are anointed with the Holy Spirit. This is a testimony from sister I met in Hope Melbourne. Her name is Thana. Sister Thana Punn from from Thailand, but she has been staying working in Australia as a nurse, medical staff. And I am so encouraged by her simplicity of loving people with the love of God. So just watch this testimony.

[43:35]family. I'm experience, right? And lady who got stroke on the right side and is operated on her, uh, left side, especially arm and finger, is uh, walked into my room for consultation. And then I asked her what happened to you, Arm. She said I got stroke.

[44:17]I just touch on her shoulder on her left and said, in the name of Jesus, Lord, you create this hand, this arm to be lip up, to be moving, Lord God, heal this my sister. This lady, Lord God, completely healed in Jesus name. And I asked her to live her hand up. Can you live up? And she struggling a little bit higher, higher, higher, higher, higher. And then she laid this. And what about your finger? Lord Jesus, you create this finger to pick up the thing, to moving. Yes, Lord, release this, Lord God, to be function. Lord God, in Jesus name. Now, what about your finger? Moving finger. And she do this, do this. At the end, she starts, stand up and dancing like this out of my room and rejoicing the Lord. Name. And two weeks or three weeks later, she came with her daughter. I give me the envelope with some money in there. And she said, here that you heal me. This uh, I want you to uh, give you this to enjoy with your family. I said, no, no, no, no. Jesus is a heal you. I don't need this gift. And she said, no, no, because I'm very happy and we want to give it to you. And she insist. So it's I said, okay, Lord, I will take it. And I take it. But on Sunday, I give this envelope for as a tithe and offering to the church. That's because this work is the Jesus done. Not me, but Jesus can use me to perform this miracle. Jesus can use you, too, brothers, sister. Just follow what he said in the Bible. If Jesus can do, Jesus is in you. You can do also. Thank you. Amen. Let's give God the glory. Amen. Okay, we're going to close right now. Uh, we don't have time to pray for people for the baptism. We don't have time to, uh, equip. Come for prayer meeting. Come for our equipping session. That's where we're going to really help you go on the next part of your journey. Amen. And this is a mentoring one. Sorry. Nothing else. Let's Let's, uh, come to the time of prayer. Hallelujah. Thank you, God. Very simple. If you say, God, I understand today it is your command. It's your command.
