Story of Green Tara | The Pāramitā Light Princess's Vow | Master Miao Jing 綠度母的前身 妙淨法師

[0:09]Good morning, everyone. Today I would like to share with everyone, the story of Green Tara. Many of you already know Green Tara is one of very famous female deity in Tibetan Buddhism. According to one Buddhist text, Tara origin Buddhist structure. In this text document, Green Tara, she was a princess in one kingdom back to million times of years of the space. In this kingdom, name is Collective Light Kingdom. Green Tara was one of the princesses in this kingdom, and her name is Paramita Light Princess. She has a loving parents, queen and king, and she always have a very great compassionate heart, not only to her siblings, her attendants, and also with all the government mayors officials. Any people encounter to her, she always practice her loving, compassionate attitude. One day, all these officers and mayor in this kingdom all encouraged Princess have a chances to attain her own enlightenment as a Buddha in male form of body to deliver the teaching to rest of them. And the Paramita Light Princess, she continued to liberate her own wishes to all the people around her. She said, I am a female body right now. Before me, there's already have so many Buddha enlightened in male form of body. As my wishes, from now and on, I will always in female form of body practice and cultivate Bodhisattva path. At the end, I will attain my Buddhahood in female form of body. That's the strongest wish of Princess Paramita Light her initial vow to her followers in this kingdom. Once she had this strong inspiration vow declared to all the people around her. She continued not only in this turn of life, practice her cultivation and life after life, she continue her practice in female form of body. As I already explained in earlier video clips, Green Tara and the White Tara, they are the tears of the Guanyin Bodhisattva. When Guanyin Bodhisattva saw all the six round of sentient being suffering from their own self-attachment, doesn't know how to liberate themselves, Guanyin Bodhisattva cry. Green Tara saw this and immediately she make a even stronger inspiration to Guanyin Bodhisattva. And she promised Guanyin Bodhisattva, she will continue in female deity's form of body to deliver the teaching to all the six wrong of sentient being. So very famously Green Tara is one of the Buddhist deity removing all the obstacles of the practitioner.
