I put a post out on my Facebook and I asked for recommendations of restaurants that aren't doing well, but deserve recognition. And one of the first ones that popped up was Funland. Apparently, Funland is family-owned and operated and has been going through a couple financial struggles and have had to shut down two of their locations, and this is the last one standing. The food looks incredible, so let's help this business stay alive. You guys got a crazy mix here, I like it. Oh yeah. Yeah, Have you guys been here for a long time? Six years. Six years? Like they're they're awesome. The food's great. I know people love it. I know people would love it. I'm supposed to be at work right now, actually. Don't tell him that. That whole place just smells like bacon goodness and so many people are ordering the seafood, which apparently, I've heard that Rob flies it in three times a week fresh seafood. Parking lot is full, full inside. Excuse my French, but I love this spit. Oh, some food's starting to come out. Dang. Oh, let me get the first reaction. Go home. Super fire, bro. Let's go. Amazing food. Tastes great. I was just telling him that I would love to bring my wife, you know, so that way for like a day night or something, something nice. Carne asada quesadilla. 10 out of 10 recommend. It's delicious. She's already asking to come back. Annette Waitress, did you expect this coming into work on a Monday today? No, I didn't expect that. I was like, what the fuck is going on? And then I found out that Paul's wife was hitting in the back just working away. So I had to go back there and chat with her. You guys get to work together often? No. No. Okay. Oh, that's my bad. I put you to work today. I'm a florist and event decorator. So I called him and he didn't answer, and then he calls me back and he goes, We are at. And I was like, I was literally right outside. He goes, I need you to get in here right now. That's awesome. I'm like, um, okay, okay. So I just walked in and asked the kitchen, what can I do? Go. You need to peel as many shrimp as possible. Shrimp duty. Let's go. Okay. And what's hilarious is that he didn't actually involve me in the process of him coming to this restaurant. He told me after the fact, and I said, you know what? Okay, if the one thing that comes out of this is that I'll never have to peel a shrimp again. That is amazing. This is like the third time he called me and was like, come peel shrimp.
